I'm still looking for that new library in the NE corner of the county that is "nearing completion?"

The reds in that area complained about some helicopters wanting to use the airport. What do you think whey would say with a 717 landing?

BP will "make right" by jacking fuel to $5/gal. to pay for everything that needs to be "made right."

Outsourcing to other countries...
FreeBird replied to Thoughts from the Evil Galaxy's topic in RECENT TOPICS
now this is a good one. The question to ask is which federal agencies outsource their call centers? I have an entire list that is handled by one of my customers. -

if that was the case - erosion abatement placed on personal property and it was an active development - I simply would not maintain it causing a stop work order for the developer.

call the county community development office, (770) 443-7601, and they can send out an inspector.

I'm thinking it has already been "privatized" as it is. I'm guessing they could not come to an agreeable contract renewal so the DNR just decided to close it. Bartow and the Cartersville gets a lot of benefit from the park - maybe they can help keep it open. I find it somewhat hard to approach a stranded woman on the side of the road. I normally ask if they need to use a phone as I offer mine up. I hope that makes them feel at ease that I am not an axe murderer and just a scout looking to do my good turn for the day. I once stopped to help the same woman twice in a month to change a flat. Not tootin' my own horn - I just think of the odds of that happening are pretty high.

He had hernia surgery in January and that has been still aggravating him. His left knee and foot has been bothering him some too. I told him he is just getting too old and I was going to have to shoot him (he is 66.) Otherwise he seems to be doing well. House is about as put back into shape as it is going to get. He enjoys company so you are always welcome to stop for a visit. He does like to talk a lot so only stop if you have a hour to kill! He has tons of knowledge of old Paulding. I enjoy driving around with him in the truck and he always tells me of something that used to be here or there

I've been waiting to donate, just haven't been called.

So the federal government pays 95% of the cost of the airport, yet can't use it due to some rednecks objecting?
