  1. I just scoured pinterest - didn't find much.
  2. Just so you know, they do NOT work on iphones. Guess it's Perimeter for me!
  3. UGA is starting to piss me off. I was really happy that the signed Richt again, but he has to get these guys under control. Who do they have coming in this year that shows promise?
  4. posting every lured detail on the internet, I'm sure..
  5. When I see them coming up the lanes, I'm always tempted to open my door. I think it would be hilarious, but I'm always going somewhere and never have the time for the paperwork.
  6. That means I have to get up early and getting going - I hit the floor at 6am the door at 7am. There's no time to get it in - unless I potentially did it the night before and put it in the fridge until the next day, I guess.
  7. I am super mom. Work, commute, baseball, volunteer work, blah blah blah. Aren't we all. But, I FAIL at nutritionist. I hired help for housework, husband does the outside stuff, but cooking dinner is my downfall. I plan to cook, even go so far as to take things out to cook, but then Subway or pizza wins out. My husband can stick a pan in the oven while I'm driving home, so I need good freezer meals. I'm going to do some serious cooking this weekend! Give me some ideas!
  8. There are two things in life that we should give our children. One is roots, the other is wings.
  9. Helping spread the good word on work. Sales (entry) and marketing (mid and senior) - all in the Atl. PM for details.
  10. Thanks Papi, I saw that...but, the phone is in warranty. Just doesn't make sense to pay $100 when Apple will replace it for free.
  11. I would do the Adele one, start at the hook.
  12. Does anyone know if Peachtree Apple store can fix a shatter glass front on a 4? ETA: are they a real Apple store? And yes, I could call them, but that requires me to get out of my cozy bed and I don't want to wake the dog.
  13. This photo is not doctored. I'm not saying it's TM, but it's an authentic photo.
  14. This has reignited racism - and I'm not sure that it should have. Just have a listen to the Michael Baisden show and you will see that the black community has turned this into another rodney king, and I don't think this was racially motivated at all. What it is: A wanna-be cop on a power trip killed an unarmed teenager because it was late and he thought he was up to no good. What it's become: A skinhead racist killed a black teenager because he was black. There's a big difference here - and "justice" has become a good excuse for black people around the country to, once again, re
  15. You laugh, but this is exactly how the UK is...and here's the problem, less people die but far more crime happens. FAR MORE. And it's usually much more brutal. Burning people alive, scarring their faces with box cutters, beating them with bicycle locks in old socks. The reason is two fold, the kids know that others are unarmed. AND, the punishment for beating someone within an inch of their life is far less severe than actually taking their life. Either way, they've gotten your shoes or wallet, or whatever other petty thing they wanted.
  16. I'm not invested in this story. From the emerging details, it's seeming less likely that the kid would have seen 25 anyways. I do know that it's crap like this that is going to cause the government to continue to try to take guns away from all of this.
  17. Wow. We're still talking about this? Racism might die if we didn't give it so much room to live.
  18. Oh, and some other organizations...though I STRONGLY encourage you to go in Atlanta. At least HALF of the street kids I encountered were from small places like Paulding. All they had to do was get out of THERE and to the city. Cobb County Pregnancy Services MUST Ministries OPen Gate (austell) Convenant House CHRIS Kids
  19. Stand Up for Kids has a great outreach program. She can hit the streets with some volunteers and see what it's like to be on the street. I'm happy to take her out in the city - she can get a dose of reality. I know where all the street kids live in big and little 5 - you just let me know if you want a tour. I have some pictures that I'm happy to share with you as well, of some of my street kids after their first child was born. In Grady hospital. Holding an infant with dirt under their nails because they hadn't had a shower in more than a week. They were both 16. You can also show her the dark
  20. It's black with a nude under thing. It's a lace overlay. Maybe I'll just keep looking. It hardly seems Easter bright.
  21. OK, my husband is a pain in the ass. I'm looking for our Easter outfits and he will not wear ANY shade of orange and no pink. So, what does this leave me with? Blue and green? I'm hoping that I can get him in green. I like this dress: I'm thinking some colored cardigan over it with some great heels. But what color? I can't do a coral. Maybe a turquoise? And, then I have the hat problem to deal with - could I do a black and nude floppy maybe?
  22. "She is ADHD and also she has Defiant Disorder" How did you find this out?
