  1. Ive gotten so many heartfelt pm's that I just haven't been able to get to them all yet. Thank you for all te kind words and prayers. I am home from the hospital and on my way to recovery. The good news is that my unfortunate loss showed doctors that I had some dangerous bleeding and fluid from a rupture. Anyways, I should now have a perfect environment for baby baking. Thank you all again. My husband and I have been so overwhelmed with support from friends, it's been such a joy to discover the strengths of those we are surrounded by. Love to you all.
  2. I'm very large chested and I always have to get bikinis at Victoria's secret. You have to shop online and they're not cheap, but if you wait for sales and online coupons, you can get them around $100.
  3. No little heartbeat, but the little fetal pole had a purpose and helped the doctors find something that needed to be addressed. Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes.
  4. I'm sure she'll consider this...right after her next forearm tattoo.
  5. I knew a few people with this major...and a few too many bottle of 'sweet breath'. Tattoos in plain sight = limitation of job potential. Worthless degree = limitation of job potential. Single mom = limitation of job potential. The list goes on and on and on and at some point someone must look at the situation and see that, in the end, it's nothing more than a series of bad decisions, repeated. This is what's shocking to me...that people make bad decisions and then go on to repeat them, and do nothing to change the course. I'm half waiting for her to to go back for another degree...i
  6. Yep. This makes it even more disappointing.
  7. I think that Lost is supposed to get people talking, thinking and guessing about things...that's just my thoughts - but it leaves SO many questions. 1. What was teh Dharma there for? 2. What do the numbers mean? 3. Why were they experimenting on polar bears? 4. Did the island and off island life happen simultaneously? I'll admit that as I sit here there is still 10 minutes of the last episode left...but, I have a feeling that we won't get any answers.
  8. Well the point of the article is that she IS teaching, as an ajunct professor, but so many people have these fluffy degrees that she can only get a job at a community college and they only pay $900 a month.
  9. I just finished Lost. Why, oh why, did I stick around after season 3?? I think that the producers took a liberal spin at retelling the stories in the Bible. And Hurley?? The meek inheriting the earth? I think so! And 50 Shades of Grey is the absolute worst book I've ever read. Now I realize that sometimes things can't live up to the hype - but it seems like nothing has lived up to the hype for me lately. I'm almost afraid to see Avengers.
  10. While I don't think that this product is good - I've been saying for a long time that the public needs to stop being a bunch of sheep and make choices for themselves instead of having people make their decisions for them.
  11. I'm genuinely intrigued - as I usually am with differences in people. I really was hoping that you'd explain whats wrong with lace fronts. Beyonce wears them and the hair place by the house has some really nice one.
  12. I heard this on Boortz today and. I'm just shocked. How can someone be so stupid as to go to school and get a doctorate in medieval studies? You see, this is the problem with the government paying for schooling - too many students just look at it as another 4 years to not have to grow up and be responsible. Because it's free. And they'll ride it as long as they can work the system, because it's easier then getting a job. Story: http://chronicle.com/article/From-Graduate-School-to/131795/ And then when they do finally graduate and get forced into the labor force, if they don't make
  13. And the mystery of the ratchet lace front continues.....
  14. We’ve had a very long 3 days! I will say and emotional rollercoaster. We went to the hospital on Sunday due to some bleeding. Very light, but I wanted to have it checked out. We were informed that our blood levels weren’t climbing enough and that we had miscarried or would miscarry. Go home and wait. The next day, my doctor called me in for an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed a normal growing embryo and a heartbeat. Still, the blood work isn’t climbing, so they told me that it would happen in the next few days. I’m scheduled for another ultrasound in the morning, if the cardiac activity
  15. I'm happy to share my experience. I spent several years with a man of power. I have been all over the world, given access to people and things that I never thought I'd see, I've had jewelry, clothes, a fancy car, a personal driver...I'm not sure it was "access", but I think it comes down to the more you make, the more you spend, and when you reach a certain level - it shifts to being less of a currency and more of a language. I think everyone can be "bought", and are, by means in some way. I spent years thinking that things were enough, until they weren't. Below is a pic of the last "
  16. Read 50 Shades of Grey - it's spot on. With "things" usually comes a world that, in the end, you don't really want to be a part of...
  17. You guys sure know how to ruin a good time. I still need goody too shoes to explain the problem with lace fronts. All I can find is that Beyonce wears them.
  18. So, if dreads = criminal out to rob you, what does patchwork equal? Yeah, we liked Drew until Jessica ruined it. Sigh. Our girl's name is absolutely PERFECT. And how come no one else had a preconceived notion of the other preggos being nuts for 9 months? If you'd rather, I can spend the next nine months posting about pregnancy and baby related stuff - snooze.
  19. Some of these are so much awesome.
  20. They're in the lots - selling grilled cheese.
