  1. You know, his contract ends in 2 weeks. I'm happy to pimp him out for any work that you might need!
  2. End of an era...I'll be getting my Braves pack today!! I love me some Chipper!
  3. Believe it or not, if it's on my own dime, you're more likely to find me at some of my favorite haunts, like Nuevo Larado or No mas, on the porch with margaritas. Or La Fonda with Sangria or Fox Bros with some Sweetwater. I also LOVE Bojohnic, Viceroy and Swampna or Cottage, Imperial Fez, etc. I like places with more flavor. I usually only do steakhouses if I'm out for work. I'm a total townie, I love a good porch, good friends, food and drink! I live about 2 miles from Howards and I've never been. My neighbors love it. I think that we might head over there for dinner tonight so
  4. 57th is awesome for brunch. Mmm, bellinis and good friends. Hal's has an AWESOME steak. If you have to stay outside of the city, I would suggest Aspens. If you want to come in a bit more, Rays on the river has an amazing steak. For the general steak in the metro, I really like Rathbuns. Capital Grille is also good. The Palm and Bones both are great meals, though the atmosphere is a bit too stodgy for me. I really like Cabernet in Alpharetta as well. I really like Blue Ridge too, and it's very easily accessible from 75. Decent but chain-y, McKendricks, Ruth's Chris, Mortons, McCor
  5. This post was in jest. I guess that didn't translate. He's awesomeness. Total.awesomeness. I could list all the things that he does (and doesn't do!!) that make me absolutely mad about him, but that would bore y'all to tears. But, occasionally, our cultural differences do leave me scratching my head. He irons sheets. Sheets!? Love his guts.
  6. I agree. I've asked him not to DO the laundry if he doesn't have time to fold it. To which is replied, then I won't do it. To which I reminded him that the bulk of my crap goes to the dry cleaner anydamnways. There was a new pile on the bed yesterday. Negative. He's not into sports.
  7. Reality in these shows is about as likely as finding a thin mother at a pageant. It's disgusting...but, I'm glad that your husband stayed classy. After all, you weren't late - which is far more important than keeping your dignity and self control on national television.
  8. My husband doesn’t like taking a single day in the weekend to do laundry. So, throughout the week he does a load or 2 a day; working from home this means that there isn’t time to fold it. So he puts it in a lumpy pile on the guest bed where it sits until Sunday. When he spends all day ironing it. So, he doesn’t want to spent his weekend doing laundry, but he’s okay spending it ironing laundry that he didn’t have time to hang up or fold properly. Am I missing something?
  9. Agreed. And also why I married a dead ringer for Mr. Law!
  10. Did y'all know Rick is a bonafide BRIT! He was in Love Actually and he also starred in a show called Teachers that ran for several seasons in the UK. My husband and I watch it and he sits in awe of how he's able to do that southern talk!
  11. He's going to jail, no doubt. Now, will they get enough to hang Andrea?? I sure hope so! "Hemy's hand was on the gun, but Andrea Sniderman pulled the trigger". And yes, she did lawyer up.
  12. I know that starting on Lost, especially with all the seasons on Netflix SEEMS like a good idea. It's not and it will ruin all hopes of having a life.
  13. Well, since it's not a drug felony they'll still be eligible for government assistance. Since they will have a much harder time finding work - and almost a zero chance of finding good work - I hope that the punishment to the tax payers fits the crime (of being an absolute idiot). They'll be mooching off the system for years to come, as if there aren't enough of those. I'm not sure it's going to teach any lessons and will likely just create bitter and frustrated young adults, likely from poor homes to begin with, that will likely have little choice but to resort to additional crimes for sur
  14. I didn't read all of this. Heard it on the news and just knew it would be pcom fame... So, are they charging these kids with a felony?
  15. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/03/09/2-flight-attendants-reportedly-injured-in-incident-on-board-american-airlines/?cmpid=cmty_twitter_fn Two people on board the flight told the Dallas Observer that the flight attendant had to be restrained by other crew members and passengers. "We are not taking off," the female flight attendant said as the plane was taxiing on the runway, according to the passengers. "We're having technical difficulties. We are heading back to the gate." Although another crew member told passengers to disregard her warning, the flight attendant kept ranting abo
  16. Those are them. We get 160 for $14.99 at a English specialty food store.
  17. So, you get tons of money and trips and excitement and gifts and you only have to put up with his crap a week a month? Yeah, I'm not seeing why this is a negative.
  18. I hired him, so you all better be right! Could be a total CLM if he fails! ETA: Pubby and LPPT, I told him that I got him from Pcom
  19. Sounds good! Enjoy nerding out with the other iGeeks in the lines! I have several friends that will be there with you!
  20. And watch where you step, as the streets are the sewer system! And don't get in a cab, take public transportation. Lots of rapes since women are still so demoralized. I used to be ubber enchanted with india...but you can't get there from Thailand which is our fall trip. We are going to hit up Tibet, though, which is my real dream come true but I wouldn't have minded ticking India off the list.
