  1. We got married in Vegas in November, so I have seen the Flamingo and it is nice. But, we won't go back to Vegas, it's just not our kind of place. We do want to do the west thing -- But oh how I'd miss the sound of the ocean!
  2. Indeed we will. We just bought a bunch of the 2's for folks in the company - but we will have to test our product on the HD. I'll be bringing that up in our next meeting. I'm not a fan girl, but I've slowly been converting to all apple and I'm happy with the change.
  3. It's lovely, I've enjoyed all my trips to the cape...But I want tropical. I suggested Puerto Rico to my husband just now and he kindly reminded me that we have to go to London in June. Looks like there will be nothing tropical in my plans this year. I'm dying to go to Hawaii, but that's a very, very pricey trip. VERY. Probably one of the pricier destinations that I have researched globally!
  4. I have no idea where to go for vacation this year. I can't leave the US, but I totally want something that FEELS like a resort. I thought about the keys, which is a bit meh for me because I grew up in S. Fla. Any ideas? Have you even starting thinking about this yet? Maybe it's the weather!
  5. I'm talking about the HD - that's the entry point.
  6. It's got a steep price tag, though. $679. I just can't part with that for a tablet. I have the first gen iPad and I love it, but they've done nothing in the 2 or HD to make me upgrade.
  7. A lumber company put a lien on her house? For an unfulfilled contract that she never had? Something doesn't sound write. Unless she signed something with the lumber company, that's just not possible. I've have her not only retain and attorney - but do it on contingency and counter.
  8. I don't know - somewhere in my 20's when I decided to stop spending thousand of dollars following a band and decided to pony up and focus on something more than getting to the next show/festival. Not sure this qualifies me as "grown up" - I think you'd have to define that before I could give you an accurate answer.
  9. AGG found google and LGM found a religion that encourages being a student. Forever. Brilliant. Talk about using religion. Shrug.
  10. Since my husband is from England, we have a traditional Sunday Roast at least twice a month. This consists of a meat, roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, gravy, and vegetables. Yum! We have a proper meal as a family every night.
  11. They have their upside. Sorry about the David thing, I confused my stories. Is a big book. If anyone wants to debate that terrible things weren't done in the name of religious ritual knows less than I do. This is sick, antiquated and frankly unnecessary. And I find it bordering on mental illness to not be able to practice religion while adhering to social and medical advancements that have happened in the last 2000 years. If a dentist chose not to use novicaine we would call that torture.
  12. Pick a murder. There's no shortage. There are some things we should know better by now.
  13. David killed his kid and placed him on an alter. Glad we outgrew that one. We may want to toss the whole sucking infant blood into that "that was then" pile.
  14. Very very odd and extreme faith. Like evolution at a total standstill.
  15. There aren't animals waiting to eat our young anymore. It's weird and creepy and apparently dangerous
  16. http://www.foxnews.com/health/2012/03/05/newborn-dies-after-contracting-herpes-from-controversial-circumcision-ritual/?test=latestnews A spokeswoman for the city Medical Examiner told the newspaper that the unidentified baby boy died September 28, 2011, at Maimonides Hospital. The official cause of death was listed as “disseminated herpes simplex virus Type 1, complicating ritual circumcision with oral suction.” As part of the ultra-orthodox Jewish circumcision ritual—known as metzitzah b’peh—the rabbi or mohel removes blood from the wound with his mouth. 17. I need something new or I'm going to go mad!
  18. I've already checked him out online. Just wanted a little real life feedback.
  19. Has anyone seen Joe Turner? I'm thinking about booking him for my customer conference. I've never seen him, but the stuff online looks good.
