We never give gifts over $25 to publicly traded companies. Most public companies aren't even allowed to accept meals over a certain limit these days. Most companies can accept branded promotions up to $100 - ie, a nice leather iPad cover with my company logo on it. These are really just little thank you's. I need to purchase new thank you gifts for companies that conduct reference calls for us. I want to have 2 different levels – one for sales under $20K and one for sales over $20K. The people that would be doing these calls are either technical or they work on the supply chain side of companies. I usually send a $10 gift card to Starbucks for the small deals, but I want to get a little creative. Have you given or received anything lately that you really liked? It's amazing how many consumer products I've been able to work into corporate gifts.
