  1. I'm looking at staying at Nick studios for our family vacation this year. Does anyone know if there is shuttle service to the parks?? Staying on property is *slightly* more expensive, but man...the shuttles and the meal plan certainly make staying on Disney property easier!
  2. Armadillo is a very good swimmer and can float in water by trapping air in its intestines. So, the question now becomes, can you cure leporsy with antibiotics? I know what they are, but I know nuffin about them...well, I do now. Is it just me, or does that armadillo look really big and pretty? Danmnit, NC, now I want an armadillo. I think you should get one. I'll ask the other half...and then give you a sob story about how I'm going to ask one of my NOLA relatives for a recipe and then you'll want to have them come live with the squirrels.
  3. God really hates armidillos. I'm now off to research what these are.
  4. I would have to know, with 100% certainty, that I wouldn't be required to work again...in my 7 months out of work, I literally think I got dumber - well, dumber in my profession. But you might be on to something. I don't know if my DSO could afford it.
  5. In honor of Mark's impending death, I have decided to create a plastics company that will allow you to take the ashes of loved ones and shape them into the replica of your passed loved ones genitalia. This is patent pending.
  6. What in the HECK would you do all day?? To hell with impressing others, wouldn't you be bored to tears?
  7. I'm trying this one now http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/download/d1b4a4e1bd839ee3d9a605e7f89c061e/
  8. I really don't think that stuff is legit. They say that there's a 16 year old around me. That's a minor.
  9. Any recommendations for free cleaners?
  10. bought from stubhub. They're all scalpers. Where is she playing? If it's at Lakehood or Phillips, I'd suggest going day of. There's usually a ton in the lots, and cheap as dirt if you wait until the second song.
  11. I have to question these girlfriends of yours...airing all this dirty laundry, with another man no less, certainly isn't helping their problems at home. Still, I digress. It's all a matter of self esteem.
  12. To the left, there is an ad space that reads: This ad will be seen by over 81,332 eyeballs. Is that 40,666 unique visitors a month? I'd round up...
  13. I was a victim of sexual abuse as well...I'm not sure that there is a single thing in the world that moves, melds, transforms, eludes and evolves as much as "forgiveness", regardless of the definition. I was annoyed that Oprah felt she had to say her definition no fewer than 7 times - as if the 18 year old girl was going to slap her forehead and say, "is that all I need to do to rid myself of the disgust I feel everyday? Silly me!" Was is a good definition, sure...unfortunately, forgiveness is an emotion. I've yet to adequately describe any emotion.
  14. I have a friend that helps hoarders. If anyone would like to get in touch, I'm happy to help. http://www.positivemotionorganizing.com/index.php
  15. Ditto...I think that there was A LOT of drugs involved.
  16. OMG! I came here to post about that! He has serious mental problems!!!!!!
  17. She is VERY uppity - and often quite condescending. She's a brilliant business woman, but she interacts with the commoners about as well as Obama. She had these twins from rural Kansas on yesterday. They had been raped for 8 years by their 2 brothers and father. She must have said to them 7 times that "forgiveness is giving up the idea that you can change the past". I wanted to punch her in the head. These girls are broken, from a broken family with very few resources and they've lost their entire family - a far cry from Oprah's top notch psychologists and "stress retreats". Who
  18. Agree 100%, which is why I stated that I have a hard time sympathizing with those that have their children in school from 8-2:30. Believe me - I understand that being a mother, working or not, is the hardest job in the world. There are weeks that I feel like I simply won't make it.
  19. Agreed!!! But, I do wish that SAHMs would be more sensitive to this...I do everything that you do with a career.
  20. It's really not bait...but I've been BOTH, and if you're a person sending your children to school from 8-2:30, I have a hard time feeling like you have no time to relax.
  21. This is not directed at you, but at the posts in general. I have to chuckle, because you are all stay at home moms - "relax for a bit". What are you doing all day while your kid is at school? I'm guessing that you don't have younger children, cause they wouldn't let you sit in the car for an hour!
  22. Please be careful doing this. It's really best to go through an organization. Remember, what we consider "donations" can actually bring harm to the homeless (think, someone beating them for a pair of shoes). BUT, I do have a great story on this part of town. My 8 year old and I were on our way back from the airport, probably 2 weeks before Christmas, and there was a downtrodden woman in a wheelchair with a sign begging for money. In the rain. In the ghetto. The light seemed to take forever to change and my son pointed out how un-Christlike it was for me not to give her money. So, I get o
