I hope this is tossed out. Sounds like a case of "my friend gets X, why can't I?" Keep in mind that a kid can leave home when they are 17, and the parents can't do anything about it. But, they better have a bed, food, and a place for the kid to come back to, if the kid wants to come home. Yes, that means that they can come, and go as they please, and there is nothing you can do about it. That is right here in good ole Ga.

But, If you speed up, and are going over the posted speed limit will you not get a speeding ticket?

All three of my kids have high IQs, and horrid hand writing. The pencils really seemed to help the youngest. He still uses them. He is 14 now, and he says they just fit better, and he likes them much better then regular pencils. I wonder if hand writing is hereditary, mine is terrible too, and seems to be worsening as I get older. LOL

My mom didn't have a DL. This is in a very car centric area. We still managed to get everywhere we needed to go. We had DE too, but it was more of an easy A, because the kids already knew how to drive. As far as this bill goes; does this mean if I am going with the flow of traffic, and it happens to be going 80 in a 55 on any of the interstates, the CCP, GHP won't give you a ticket? After all your not impeding traffic by going the posted speed limit.

So are veterinarians hours, but someone always comes in with an "emergency" that has been going on for at least a week. Just sayin.

I wish I had known that you were selling a 4runner. I miss mine, even though I only had it for 6mos before it was totaled. Don't get me wrong I love my Betsy Blazer, but I really did like the 4runner.

That's fine. I just learned in my first pregnancy that I (felt) that I wasted money. But I was pregnant during the summer with all three of mine, and the free flowing summer dresses were great. Then I was able to belt them after the baby was born so I was able to use them for a couple of years.But, I still stand by what I said. Especially about the bras.

Don't buy "maternity" clothes. You will waste your money. Buy a couple of really nice pants with elastic waists. And buy shirts that can stretch or can be belted so you can wear them after you have the baby. The only piece of "maternity" clothing I bought was a really good pair of jeans. Mainly because I could still ware them after the baby was born. I would say spend the most on really good nursing bras. Assuming that you are going to nurse. If not you still need really good support in that area.

He would consult with the mother, and avoid hurting the child. There is no good that can come from spilling the beans as it were. The only reason to do this would be for the adults to "get back" at each other, and it will harm the child even if the child is an adult. The person is laying down their lives, because if the lie is found out they too will die. As for the OP, what you may see as morally correct, and what some one else does can be very different.

Yes,I knew that, I've read Jefferson too. My point is for those who would have a conniption fit about prayer in school, or a coach led prayer at a football game. Those who would have no problem with this because it would offend someone. Of course if this were allowed that would mean that Christian values would be applied. Ladies that means that your husbands can "put you away quietly" and you can not remarry. But, they could.

I don't know if this was pointed out, as I didn't read all of the responses. I'm thinking this would be unconstitutional under the first amendment. You know that whole separation of church and state thing. After all if Sharia is to be recognized in our domestic legal cases, what stops any other religion from being a part (even trumping) our laws? I'm over the PC crap too.

Awesome. Yeah, I did the same. The social crisis *studies* teacher also emailed stuff for the kids to do, Angus the science teacher also reminded the kids that they would still be taking a unit test when they get back. I have no idea how that happened.
