1. Yes, just got a call about that. They said that the North Paulding area was affected the most.
2. My daughter had to leave her truck on 575 at exit 11, and walk to Towne lake parkway to get grand daughter. Now they will have to walk to a friends house, and may end up spending the night with her. My point is, it is what it is, and bitching about it isn't going to make a difference. Her whole point (IMHO) is how dare there not be any police around when I need to get somewhere. Given her statement in post 5 it is a personal affront that the police are helping in real emergencies, and not where SHE thinks they should be.
3. We all do. So, you didn't bother to read her post #5, right? I find it disconcerting that she thinks of no one but herself, and her kid.
4. You obviously haven't read ANY of her posting. Based on past behavior, her bitching isn't because of any concern for her fellow man, but only because SHE is inconvenienced. Hell this is obvious in her postings in this topic.
5. "If I was a police officer on duty I would get out and direct traffic but I'm not. Thank you." Wow, I'm so glad that all the wonderful good Samaritans out there using their trucks to help people don't have your crappy attitude. Isn't your kid like 14 or something? I'm sure with your anal retentive attitude with her you kept her at home today, right? So,unless she is mentally challenged, or disabled she should be OK. Are you sure she can breathe without you being right there with her? But, don't you know, she and her child are the only ones that are important. She doesn't care abou
6. And, the first time some one gripes about having to make up days during February break needs to be slapped too.
7. And, there she is. Damn woman you know there are other people in the world besides you, and your kid. Get over yourself.
8. Slight hijack. I need to trim our roosters spurs. We do have our coop heated, but he is all by his lonesome. Husband is getting the coop fixed up (finally) so that we can get Duke some lady friends. Moonie, congrats on the ride.
9. One of the things drilled into us kids (way back in the 70's) was never walk anywhere alone. We always walked with 2 or more kids to, and from the bus stop. My niece and I did have someone stop, and try to grab her once. We found out that is was her bio dad. Not real sure what happened after that, but we never seen them again. 14yr old rides the bus to school twice a week, and doesn't ride it home. Not because I don't want him to, but because he has stuff to do after school.
10. Yes, the difference is the Dems will celebrate those folks. Funny how if it's conservative the Dems are all aflutter about it, but when the condom is on the other head they're all "oh it's Ok, after all they are our guys, not the other guys."
11. Well I could never be a part of a group/party that only thinks of me as a vagina. I'm starting to think that the Dems/libs are a bunch of perverts. They also are pretty obsessed with anuses too. They sure are obsessed with sex, and such.
12. I agree, VA. cancelled school Tues, and yesterday. Their kids are used to this so, well ya know. At least it will be out of the weather.
13. A can of wet food, or tuna, should bring it out. Of course it may just magically disappear, because a responsible person adopted it.
14. So, when folks start bitching about how hot it is, and the AC just doesn't work, I can be all get over it, because I grew up with out AC in South Florida, and we all survived right?
15. I was having trouble lifting a 50lb bag of bird seed into my buggy, this very nice lady seen me struggling and helped me.
16.

Dang brackets are still there Pubby. Thanks GD. I'm loving the start button.
17.

Yea, my daughter is 28, and she still has some problems with the acne. I've noticed it's mostly in the summer time that it appears. Of course she is on her own, but I (mom work is never done) will remind her about the dial.
18. Our 14yr old 5'11" 234lb only uses Dial antibacterial soap. He doesn't have an acne issue really, and one shower a day is the norm. Btu, that may change. As far as laundry detergent, I usually use Tide free & clear. I also use Oxi clean. Don't know if that makes a difference or not. We didn't have a stinky issue with our oldest boy. Our daughter had major acne (mainly back) issues, and we went to using Dial with her, and the issues cleared up.
19. Yes they are. It is quite aggravating.
20.

Good it's not just me. Tell him to refresh the page. I don't know what's going on with it either. I just know that helped with the one I was watching earlier.
21.

"all of her friends have one" That right there is the reason my kid would NOT get one. I don't care if all your friends have X. If they all jumped off a bridge would you? Yes, 14yr old has an HTC (he doesn't really care one way or the other about it.) but he has practices that we may not be at, or we may need to run an errand while he is there. Makes it easier to stay in touch.
22. All of my childhood men folk are leaving us. RIP Professor, and Ruben.
23. So you are admitting that there is no direct impact to you, and therefore what difference does it make. Got it.
24. Clearly you have no clue what your talking about. Clearly you are not impacted by this. To answer your edited post. Yes of course the windows were replaced. They were replaced with what was available at the time.
