Sounds like you might should attend. You have no clue how they help the neighborhood. -
We always have our flag out. We just bought a new one, made in America of course.

I think so. Go here and post a messeage to Mandy. Her daughter played on the feeder team 2yrs ago, and plays (i think) on the high school team. I'm sure she can point you in the right direction. https://www.facebook.com/PCHSFOOTBALL

I'm sorry you had such a horrible experience. I do hope you called/e-mailed/went to see the supervisor about this. I know I would've. Edited to add: Mom of 3 is correct. When oldest broke his elbow, we went to Kennestone, seems like it was about .3-4 hours for them to see him asess what was up, get to radiology and discharge. So, things haven't changed in over ten years for something like that.

I will add that the two times that my husband has had to go they were great. Now I don't know if it is because he was having a heart attack the first time, and chest pains the second time, but they stabilized him and then sent him to Kennestone for specialized care. Then when I took DS for something that I thought was a real problem (the one time I over reacted) they were still great. My oldest had to go for stitches this past Easter, and he said they were great. He, and his girlfriend were gone about two hours. So, for us we would have no problem seeking treatment at Paulding if needed.

Wow, so how many of you have nurses that are friends that work there? From some of the postings on my FB page seems like there are a lot of morons coming in for things that aren't true emergencies. Keep in mind (although I understand that when mistakes happen lives can be lost) that an emergency room is only there to stabilize you. It is up to you to follow up with your doctor. I am sorry that y'all have had issues. I'm just sayin.

Do you trade games and such? You may want to read this.......

Yes, slippery slope. This is apparently a new thing here, as the Game Stop manager said they just started this, and on the 28th they will have to start fingerprinting. -

New to the Hiram store ladies. I guess I will be selling the games, and such on e-bay now. Showing the license maybe scanning it. Hummm I can see that, but the fingerprinting??? NO, I think that is too much. -
Be prepared to have your drivers license scanned, and to be fingerprinted. Apparently Hiram now has a city ordinance that requires any business that takes in trades for games, and such to do this. We were at Game Stop today and found this out. We also found out that golf clubs will be taken in at Academy sports. The same rules will apply.

I'm impressed that you found one alive. I always seen them as road kill. -
Well if you read the Career planner for both the 2012/13 and 2013/14 kids, it says two of the three things are what is needed for graduation. It does NOT say they need all three to graduate. http://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/content_page2.aspx?cid=2412 In BOTH planners it says the GHSGT OR EOTC + GHWT, now I don't know bout y'all but that does not say that in order to walk the kids have to pass all three. Matter of fact to me it says they just need to get two of the three to graduate. I know this is a moot point. But......... I would have already been raising Cain about this.

You are, but that's not the point. I'm not gonna ask, however I have a sneaking suspision that there is at least one person who loves to bitch but most likely (I could be mistaken) won't go and vote. While Stradial's Dad may be right, it's still important. I also think that many people of Stradial's dads age started feeling like that in the 60s. It could've been earlier or later. I'm just saying that I do understand, and the fact that the 08 election shows just how much votes do make a differance should be enough to make those who have become complacint to get up off their duff and go vot

They're just prepping you for the commercialization of the airport. But, you know it's all about money jobs.

Sad how many people have decided that. And, they are the very people who wonder WTH has happened.

Posted on FB from my Daughter. Primary elections are tomorrow. Your right to bitch about politics will be rescinded unless you exercise your right/privilege to vote.

COMMON CORE: WHAT IS THE GOVERNMENT REALLY TRYING TO DO?
gog8tors replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Oh good grief pubs. I wonder when the sub standard "worker" started being turned out? Could it have been when the schools started with the writing to read experiment? Or was it before then? Seems to me every time you turn around there is yet another experiment to be done, and it is costing our kids. Really? Blaming Texas for this??? How bout California? They also have an influence on what few text books might be produced. I'm not really sure what the draw back of kids learning the old way to do BASIC math, and expecting mastery of the subject is such a bad thing. After all (for the ti -

Wow, just wow.I'm loving the FACT that pubster has NO FACTS to back up his ridiculous claim about Texas. SMH. Toilete paper man, dude you need to go back in the basement. I get that math should be (in a perfect world) all the same. Every kid should be able to MASTER simple operations. IE: adding, subtracting, multiplication, division. Either your doing an addition problem or a subtraction problem. You can't do both. Now I understand (actually I figured it out a while ago) why youngest was having so much difficulty in elementary school. WTH? It's a SIMPLE problem. There's no reason to make -

As you already know my husband is a Combat veteran of Vietnam. We live with PTSD. The partners and children of the person with PTSD can also suffer secondary PTSD. But there is hope, a strong support system for the suffer, and a support system for the caregivers and family can be the best help for all concerned.
