  1. My daughter lives in Cedartown and is on her way home. Maybe I should give her a call.
  2. Yikes!! I'm weather phobic, majorly! Thanks for the heads up, changing my plans
  3. Buddy's at 61 and Scoggins now has them for 2.99 a pack. Hubby bought a scented pack shaped like food items. I had no idea he even knew what Silly Bandz were!
  4. I was planning on heading over to the original location tomorrow, will you be open and will there be anything in the store? We can plan on the Plaza store being open on Monday, the 21st right?
  5. I agree on Dr Thompson but then again, they all are pretty great. I've gone there for over 25 years, my aunt has for over 33, my sister has for 14, my daughter has for 6 and my grandmother even went there for some issues. LOVE this place....as much as you can an OB/GYN office
  6. If the honor's students need to be recognized for their hard work, what about special recognition for all others who worked just as hard? Like the Special Ed kids who endured years of teasing for being different and/or had to deal with physical disabilities yet stuck it out till the end. The student who had to work to support his/her family/sibling's and still graduated, an average student. Or, what about the struggling child that has had to work as hard or harder than that honor's student just to make A's & B's in mainstream classes? To which I'll add I have one of those student's and for
  7. Am I the only one to have a census worker come to their home? I answered the 1st question only of the census questionnaire. What did they ask you?
  8. Sorry for the repost....I just found out and was shocked!
  9. The HUGE Treasure Ship restaurant & bar in the Capt. Anderson's bay burned Wednesday!!!!
  10. Yes & No....I didn't vote. I've told my family my wishes IF the time comes & I am on paper (and yes I made it legal) but not on my DL or on any other document. I have a conspiracy theory about the whole ordeal LOL!!
  11. I'm headed to Penney's in a bit. I did know, it was made very clear to the girls. If this is not a school sponsored function I don't get why they can't wear smaller straps....strapless I understand. I don't know which school your sister goes to but here's a question.....do you know where the profit goes that's made off of the formal? I can't find an answer to that.
  12. My closet?!?!? I WISH! I'm a 14, she's a 0 Congrats on your savings though, that was HUGE!
  13. Thanks, I never even thought about Penney's. I have a 15% off coupon too! Going there today....thanks ladies!
  14. Before you buy....go over to Mableton, behind Bay Breeze restaurant, close to the old Kmart. There is a scratch & dent appliance place there. VERY REASONABLE! I got my Kitchen Aid stove there. My stove is conventional & convection, has the cast iron grates, the griddle/grill in the middle, LOT's of computer options, the meat thermometer that plugs into the inside of the oven and reads on the control panel, self cleaning, 100% metal no plastic anywhere not even the knobs, etc... this oven retails for $1400, I got it for $700 and the only booboo is on the side that butts up against the ca
  15. I am having the HARDEST time finding a dress for my daughter's 8th grade formal! Do you have yours and where'd ya get it? Some of her friends got theirs at CC's and Macy's, I'm not paying $150 or better for a short party dress. Suggestions?
  16. My mom is highly allergic....she can breathe the faintest smell of it burning far off and she'll break out. The bleach DOES work, she does it. Also, you need to get some Rhuli Spray or gel. It's made by Band-Aid and not everyone sells it, I think WalMart does. This stuff is killer at calming the itch. Also, instead of taking Benadryl (unless you wanna be knocked out) my dermie said to use Tagament instead. I had a VERY BAD reaction to some meds and the Rhuli plus the Tagament was very helpful!
  17. Do we know anymore? Does the family need anything?
  18. I was up until 3, baking and cooking. No failures here, thanks goodness....I would have been furious with all of that cooking to do! We're out in South Paulding, you?
  19. Every one of the HW shows is weird....just different in how they are weird! The OC wives are close to "real people" (nearly white trash) who have made a TON of money. Can't stand TAMARA, btw. NY wives are so "look down your nose and pity the little people", pretentious types...YUCK! NJ are straight up certifiable....they WILL take you out if you cross them. The ATL wives...there are no words. Ashamed that the country views Ga based on these HO's....(except for Candy) HOWEVER, the OC is like the train wreck that I HAVE to watch!!
  20. We've seen it a couple of times, in Hiram. My youngest said "hey, Barbie is in Kmart, there's her car"!!
  21. Please say a little prayer today at 2 that GOD provides strength and peace to Cindy, Tim, Em and Mr & Mrs. Cooper as they lay Timbo to rest. Especially Mr. Cooper, he physically wasn't doing well last night. I can't even begin to imagine the pain this family feels, such a tragedy.
  22. Please be in prayer for Tim, Cindy, Emma, Ned & Ruth during this horrific time, tomorrow and Friday especially. These are wonderful people and Timothy will be greatly missed.
  23. My daughter went for a weekend about 3 months ago. She stayed at the Opryland....never left it! There was so much to do IN the hotel, she had to go back another weekend! She wanted to take the "Nashville scandal bus tour", it's in a hot pink school bus owned by 2 women. One drives while the other tells you about all of the scandals that took place in that location. It cam highly recommended and is very funny, adults only....they are crazy ladies. She's gotta go back to do this because the 2nd weekend she never got off of Music Road!
  24. There are a lot of things people do that I consider to be disrespectful. There's nothing I can do about them either....I personally do not appreciate loud boom boom music blaring out of people's cars. I don't appreciate people swearing (and I mean the BIG ones) in public around my children. I don't appreciate parent's allowing their children to continually scream at the top of their lungs (while they ignore them) in public places. I don't appreciate the crotch rockets screaming up and down my street on sunny days and warm nights. I don't appreciate the people on the street behind me with a poo
