My computer has a virus.......... Arrrrrgggghhhhhh
SushiBoofay replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
They are a website http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407 You don't have to do all of the log stuff unless you've got a real mess. I had problems downloading everything at the very bottom, so only ended up with CCleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, and Avast. Plus I have antimalwarebytes. CCleaner took care of my problem, but you have to make sure you expose hidden files...(in Step number 3) -

Had same problem earlier this week. Go to majorgeeks.com and put malware removal in search. Scroll down and you'll see instructions for removal. Start on Step 2. -
Murder suicide. Step son apparently shot the family, then himself. I knew the detective.

SushiBoofay replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I suspect I will die from tripping over my dog and choking to death on a tablespoon of cake frosting. -

Use a lower setting and take them out as soon as the dryer goes into the wrinkle-free cycle. The only time I use the higher setting is when I'm drying towels. As long as you take them out just as soon as you hear the buzzer and the machine is going - you should do okay. -
Here it's: House Rules1. The dog is not allowed in the house. 2. Okay, the dog is allowed in the house, but only in certain rooms. 3. The dog is allowed in all rooms, but has to stay off the furniture. 4. The dog can get on the old furniture only, but has to stay off the new couch. 5. Fine, the dog is allowed on all the furniture, but is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed. 6. Okay, the dog is allowed on the bed, but only by invitation. 7. The dog can sleep on the bed whenever he wants, but not under the covers. 8. The dog can sleep under the covers by invitation only.

Favorite and Least Favorite Christmas songs

Favorite: I'll Be Home for Christmas Least Favorite: The Shoe Song (most depressing Christmas song EVER!) -
Well, if you mean by definition - then that is incorrect. Rescue dogs (or cats, pigs, etc..) are generally taken (rescued) from a bad situation (facing death, being abused, etc.) and brought into a loving environment. Dogs that are bought from breeders are not considered rescue dogs because they weren't initially IN a bad situation - they were just waiting for the right family to come along (pay for them) and bring them into their homes.

In our old house we had bat invasions three times. The first time was during the middle of the night and the bat was flying around. It makes a distinctive noise and it was right above the bed. The second time I found one in the bathroom - just a hanging around the wood trim and the third time one was hanging off a jello mold on the wall in the kitchen. The first one we opened up the French doors and used a broom to steer it in the right direction (cat was entranced with it and offered little help). Second two - since they were hanging - we use a broom handle and a pillow case. Bats fall do

Glad you got in and everything went great. The stuff that keeps it from regrowing really does work. I haven't had a problem with that toe since. Did you get in trouble for "performing bathroom surgery."

Been there. Done that. Twice. Go to Doctor Laur. I think this is the main number...but not sure --- tell them you want the Hiram office (Village Podiatry). (770) 943-7877Call tomorrow as it could take a while for you to get to see him. Good luck!

Recommendation for a GP open to idea of holistic medicine
SushiBoofay replied to SushiBoofay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thanks for the information. Langford is the one I found earlier today. He only scored mostly 3s on Healthgrade (website), but another doctor I go to scored the same and I've never had a problem with him, so know you can't rely on scores alone. I still haven't heard from my doctor (didn't have time to call him again this afternoon, so I'll be doing it in the morning)....so I believe I am ready for a change. -

Thanks for the idea. Found a D.O. that is part of Wellstar (in the network). Going to do more research this evening. -
I like my doctor, but I'm frustrated by the lack of follow-up. I had blood drawn to check my thyroid last Tuesday and he had said the results should be back by last Friday. I called yesterday to see if they were back because no one from the office had called me. The nurse said they were on his desk, but he would have to review them before she could give me the results. She said I should hear something later in the day....but I never did. This is not the first time I have had to track my blood results down, so thinking it's time to move on. I would like to find a general practitioner that i

Although the line is always long, it moves surprisingly fast. We don't get breakfast out very often, but on the occasions that we eat there - I get the bacon and egg biscuit. SO GOOD!

The walk in Dallas where you hear the ghost stories
SushiBoofay replied to SushiBoofay's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Prices start at $25 for a 30 minutes walk without a celebrity attending. Meanwhile, the one in Marietta is $17 for an hour and then they have a 90 minute trolley ride (some nights) for $27. Seems like the better deal unless you want to see one of the special guests in Dallas. http://ghostsofmarietta.com/http/ghostsofmariettacom/tickets/ p.s. I have done the Marietta done. It was great. -
I was wondering if anyone has gone to the Dallas Ghost Tours. If so, was it worth the price?
