When we lived on Brownsville Road (about 6 or 7 houses down from 92/Brownsville Rd.), our address was Powder Springs, 30127. So now are they including some of the Hiram people as Powder Springs? We were still Paulding County though. I am Douglasville zip and in Paulding County. It's weird.

How sad! Did the ER ever do anything to help with the pain or at least put you on a heart monitor o make sure you weren't having a heart attack? Maybe it was gas or stress. I've heard both can give you chest pains. I hope you are feeling better today.

I have worked at Bankhead for 26 years! Who are you guys? I'm not sure they are hiring right now but they accept applications any time to keep on file for when they need an experienced welder. That's why my son is not working for Bankhead, even though I have worked here for years. They don't have the time or the manpower to train new welders. They use experienced welders. He did work there for a few months cleaning up the shop part time and that's how he decided he wanted to learn to weld.

My son is getting ready to graduate in the next few weeks from Georgia Trade School in Kennesaw. They train welders and that's all they do. It is a good school if he needs/wants to further his welding education and get more certifications. My son is also looking for a welding job.

I like coming to this site. Facebook sucks. Yes. All of his small group classes were regular ed. The only class that wasn't small group was JROTC. When he was a senior, they didn't have small group available in Brit Lit so it was co-taught and he had a special ed teacher in there when he needed a little help. The small group classes were a big help to him.

My son had small group classes in both Jr. High and High School. The small class setting was part of his IEP. It worked out fine for him. And the classes were much smaller than 18 kids. It was more like 6-10 kids in each class. It was small group regular ed.

Our power went out at about 1:45 this morning. Came back on around 2:30 or so. Not long enough for the house to get hot and stuffy or anything.

I buy meat at Food Depot, then I go to Aldi and get what I can there, usually milk, bread, eggs, butter, canned goods, then I finish up at Wal-Mart. Food Depot has good meat prices and I hardly ever buy meat at Wally anymore. I go to Sam's when I need to re-stock paper towels, toilet paper and coffee.

We have had some around our sink since last week. I tried the vinegar thing and it kept them away as long as the vinegar stayed wet. We finally sprayed Raid ant killer last night. Didn't see any of them this morning. They did not follow a trail - they just seemed to be roaming around randomly on my counter and in my sink. They are so tiny!!

I second Doug Sanders. He just tiled our kitchen/hallway/bathroom/laundry room. Beautiful work!
