OK.. How come my doctor told me there was nothing he could do because it caused by being overweight and if I would lose weight, it would go away. I have lost and gained the same 20 lbs. over and over again and I still have it. Weight loss didn't help one bit. Bummed....

My son was like that and then, one night I was at my wit's end. So I grabbed the TV remote and turned on the TV. Country videos just happened to be on. He immediately stopped crying. So I sat down right in front of the TV and rocked him to country videos. He was asleep in about 10 minutes. It worked like a charm every time I couldn't get him to quiet down any other way. Don't know why or care - it worked!

So, how come men get all the attention because they are gray? I have heard nothing but crap from people since I stopped coloring my hair in January. From men, mostly.

:raising hand: I've never been to one. I probably won't ever go to one, either. The best coffee in town is Dunkin Donuts. -
I never even heard of making Thanksgiving stuffing/dressing with cornbread until we moved to GA. We only used bread at home. Also, nobody eats macaroni and cheese with a Thanksgiving dinner. That's what you serve with hot dogs or hamburgers. ok - I have to admit that cornbread stuffing is pretty darn good. Still can't get used to mac-n-cheese at Thanksgiving though!

We went to GC once (and only once) for Thanksgiving. The lunch meat I put in my sandwich was thicker than the "turkey" slices they served. Never again. Blue Willow is awesome. The Waverly is also great but kind of pricey. You do get a large selection of foods you wouldn't normally have at Thanksgiving and, I think it's worth the price just for the Ice Cream bar they have there!

My son was a reenactor last night at Pickett's Mill. We had tickets for the 8:30 tour and the fire truck was blocking the entrance. We were wondering why they were there. You'd think the neighbors would be used to cannon fire by now and know it when they hear it! Geez! BTW if you haven't been on any of the tours at Pickett's Mill (candle light or day time), I highly recommend it.

Yeah, my son should be half froze after tomorrow night, when he pretends to be a dead Yankee at Pickett's Mill!

What do you think of Aimee Michael?

How does anyone know that she WASN'T drunk or impaired somehow? They didn't find her for 10 days! You can sober up pretty good in that amount of time. -
I made this about 3 months ago and Castleberry was at Wal-Mart. I would imagine you could use any barbecue, such as a tub of Lloyd's barbecue or any other brand.

My crockpot was a wedding gift 22 years ago so it doesn't have "warm" or "cook" options. I set it on low and leave it. If you are going to be home to make it, just throw everything in a large pot and heat it up. The crockpot comes in handy when we camp because dinner is ready when we get back to the tent. I have left it 8 hours on low and it was fine. But, since everything is out of a can, it is already "cooked" and you just need to heat it up. So, like I said, you can just dump it, heat it and eat it!

Here's one - cheap and easy! BRUNSWICK STEW 2 15 oz. cans creamed corn 2 15 oz. cans Mexican stewed tomatoes (or “chili ready” diced tomatoes) 2 cans Castleberry Pork Bar BQ 2 10 oz cans chicken 1 jar Heinz spicy hot ketchup Put all in large pot and set to boiling. Add Worcesteshire Sauce and Hot Sauce to taste. You can put it all in a crockpot on low, too. My family loves this. We make it in the crockpot when we camp.

Nope. Not as fat as I am, and I eat healthy! They didn't say if she was unhealthy or not and she didn't look like she was unhealthy. I would be curious to know what her cholesterol count is! What I couldn't believe was that she was pregnant and gave birth to a healthy baby - and only ate french fries the entire time she was pregnant! She must have had some butt kicking prenatal vitamins!

I watched a show last weekend on Discovery Health about a woman who only eats french fries. That's the only thing she has eaten since she was about 4 years old. She gags and cries when she tries to eat something else. They had a nutritionist and a psychologist helping her and they dyed french fries different colors for her to try to eat. She cried and spit it out. They took her to a restaurant and had her try different veggies as fondue items. Again, she cried and spit it out. At the end of the show, there was a note saying she has added almost 15 new foods to her diet. I couldn't beli

Halloween (the first/original one) Scream Magic (obscure '80's movie - but I hate puppets/clowns so it scares me) The Others (not "halloween" but still scary to me) Hocus Pocus ( OK! Not a scary movie! But I love it! And it has to do with Halloween! So shoot me!) Blair Witch Project

Congratulations! I love my little boy (well, he's almost 18 but he's still my "little boy")! BTW - I believe I told you it was a boy when I saw that picture of you!
