Crown Royal, cherry lemonade and 7-Up over crushed ice. Also, the mango margarita at La Parilla in Powder Springs.

You are welcome. You always do a fine job on our yard and we appreciate it. I hope you have an extremely excellent time at Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gina

Yeah the "fire lane" thing is odd, since there is nothing there. Why would they stripe it and paint the curb when the lot is empty? I wish there was some kind of "new home of..." or "coming soon.." sign.

Don't ask me. I roll out refrigerated biscuits, slice them in to strips and throw them in the pot. There's nothing "fluffy" about my dumplings. Gross would be a better term to use.

I asked the pharmacy people at Rite Aid if they knew what it was going to be when they first started clearing the land. They thought it was going to be a CVS. I thought that was weird since it would be right across the street from Rite Aid. The lot is broken up in to three sections with humps of dirt seperating the sections, I guess to control water run off or something. Very weird. I thought it might be a park and ride lot for the bus that goes to Atlanta but it would be awfully close to the one already at Movies 278.

Oh no. The first one was way too good for a sequal.

Does anyone know what they have built/are building at the corner of Brownsville Road and Hiram Lithia Springs Road? It looks like a large lot that they cleared, divided in to three sections, grassed it all and then made three different driveways. There is a long, paved "road" that has a red painted curb that says no parking fire lane. That's it. I can't figure out what it is supposed to be and it's bugging the crap out of me! There are no signs. Anyone know anything about it? (this is in Cobb County) Edited to add this is on the corner across from Rite Aid and the Shell station.

Thanks. She was the only doctor there that I didn't care for. I still go to this practice and see Dr. Bauer. I went through Dr. McLendon (he quit), Dr. Christmas (he quit) and then Dr. Gingrey (he left to be political). Now I only see Dr. Bauer. Love him. I hope he doesn't leave any time soon. He needs to get me through menopause in one piece!! (Why don't we have a sweaty, pissed off smiley face?!)

She was my least favorite doctor ar Marietta OB/GYN. She was very rude to me the one time I had to see her on an emergency basis (miscarriage). She made it clear that she did not have time for "extra" patients that day and she didn't know why they would give her a walk-in patient when she was already so backed up. Gee. Maybe because I was miscarrying a baby and bleeding like a stuck pig. I made sure I didn't see her again as a patient.

I second that regarding Michael Murray. My son was in his class for 5 years at Nebo. He was the best teacher for my son. Although my son did not have behaviour issues, he needed a small group, consistent approach to teaching. He got that with Mr. Murray. He is not a warm fuzzy, everything will be OK type of teacher. He is honest, straight forward and if you don't want the truth, you better not ask him. My son was part of the Northwest Georgia Educaton Program. Ask about it, they might be able to help you.

does anyone know if it rained over by Sweetwater Church Road? We seem to have a bubble over our house and we never get the rain everyone else talks about. I am in Atlanta and it is dry here and I'm just wondering if it rained in our area or not.

When my son was in middle school, we did not have a printer at home. When he was required to print something out, we e-mailed it to the teacher and he or she printed it out. We bought the teachers paper and worked it out with them ahead of time. It worked out pretty good. Sometimes we would save it on a jump drive and he would take it to school with him and have it printed. It was never a ton of printing that had to be done, just one or two page reports or notes and not very often. Maybe your daughter could work something out with her teachers so you wouldn't have to have the printer at h

I feel sorry for this little girl.

I voted, as always. My son voted for the first time last night and was very proud of himself! I was proud of him, too. They let me go to the booth with him to show him what to do in order to vote and it was all I could do to keep my mouth shut about some of his selections. But I did and then went and voted for who I wanted in office.

You both have very cute kids! It looks like they were all happy to be getting back to school again.

My family is from Illinois and when I talked to my sister Sunday night, she was telling me that most of the corn is dried to a crisp and what little corn they have left that is half-way green, doesn't have any corn on it - just the stalks. The area I'm from also grows about 90% of the pumpkins that LIbby's cans. There might not be any canned pumpkin this year or next (depending how much they have in a warehouse someplace). -
Do we have any of these in Paulding County Schools or Parks?

Now that I see the picture, Nebo did not have swings like that. They had some that looked like a very large car seat made out of plastic that you would have to take the kid out of the wheelchair and put them in to. I can't remember for sure but I'm thinking there was one like the one in your picture at Hunter Park in Douglasville about 10 or 11 years ago when we used to go there. -
We use ABS on Fairburn Road in Douglasville. I don't have their number becaus my husband deals with car repairs, not me. We are picky and we have been happy with them.

I remember Nebo having something like it for lttle kids when my so was there about 8 years ago. I have never seen them in parks. -
I used to work with a girl who was 32 and a grandmother of 2. She had her first baby at 13. She told me "there aren't but two things to do in Alabama - f&*$ing and fighting and I don't fight".

My husband always complains about that, too and that their air conditioning is set way low and it's hot when you walk in to the store and that the coolers where the drinks are kept are always almost room temperature.
