  1. I can appreciate that, however, I dont think I have ever seen her fail fashion-wise, but I could have easily missed a few. I can see her as someone I would feel at ease having coffee with and just talking about everyday things. Worlds better than the ice Queen Hillary.
  2. My brother has been a P.A with Pinnacle for over 20 years. They are great doctors. I personally see Dr Malcom(former military surgeon and served on surgeons staff at Walter Reed Hospital). I have two degenerated discs that I am living with as long as I can in hopes for a better option than the surgery they have available for it presently. However, my brother personally sent me for another opinion to a cranio-spinal surgeon. Even he believes in getting all the options you can when facing such a serious surgery. I LOVE who he sent me to. Dr. Moore and Dr. Chitale in Marietta. They used to be
  3. She is both classy and approachable. I think she is a great first lady and has a gift of being able to bring needed topics to the forefront without abusing the bully pulpit. I'm really glad we have been able to see even more of this side of her on her South Africa trip. I am in no way a big Obama fan, but I am always glad to see someone as poised and real as Michelle reach across the lines and do it without nastiness. Also, she looks just as great in her favorite dresses from the Gap as she does in a high end designer gown. Love seeing it!
  4. I am over the moon when I find a great pair of super high heels, especially retro ones, that actually fit me. It's a good day...a good month when that happens! On the other hand, not much ticks me off more than wanting or needing a new pair and when NOTHING fits the sales person directs me to............................................... the little girls section . They all have glitter butterflies and the words "diva" or "princess" on them. But, nevertheless, shoes make a girl happy! AGREED! Yo Mama raised you RIGHT! Miss you, L .
  5. HAHAHA! I am WIDE-a-freakin wake too and Words With Friends is always my go-to. Send me your screen name . I am gonna try a double shot of Ketel One Citron as it is my last resort. I hope you get some sleep. Love it! Now stop making me laugh so I can SLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
  6. Flat Coca-Cola,the term "Hubby" , long over permed "gelled" hair that looks wet and crunchy, demin shorts, "tribal" tattoos, Italian "sized" coffee at Starbucks(how about small, med, large?), people who order "steak sauce" with their steak , women who are obsessed with being married and call a boyfriend their "husband", ALL people who ALWAYS make "blanket statements", people who have the personality of Aunt B....Oh, I mean Aunt Bea and anyone who doesnt giggle at least a little when they envision Ms Jessie preaching/cussing up a storm and in her fury with her Bible and a very big stick, dent
  7. Although thou dost raise a most positive point, new doggy poo is CLEARLY(ew , pardon the pun please) and MOST CERTAINLY "yuckier" than it's older and more "mature" counterpart. Not that it is far and away my first choice either. (ONLY You and I could introduce S*&% into a thread about "life decisions". We have a way, ya know? PCOM, you are WELCOME .) .........................
  8. Dang....I just had the thought of stale, OLD smoke mixed with brand NEW doggy poo . Why you gotta do stuff like that to me, Subby?
  9. Well cmon! These bars could use some GOOD southern rock pie-anny ! Yep, we all have our vice, no mistake. I dont mind an actual lit cig its when the smoker lives in smoke and everything including them smells like it.
  10. I see your point, Postman. I dont know how I feel really about the question but I DO know that little repulses me more than the smell of stale cigarette smoke on clothes, in a home, etc....and as far as dating? NO SMOKERS...total dealbreaker. It's disgusting . I wouldnt care if he was a billionaire and looked like young Elvis crossed with George Clooney. YUCK and NO THANK YOU. But, I really just came in this thread to tell you that I luv ya, Postman and hope you are in good health and that life is good for you and yours. Keep sharing the U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G. The world needs it !
  11. Okay, now see, you have always had way more personality than a bowling ball. THAT is funny.
  12. Oh yeah, really? Not you? Dang! That tambourine should have to be registered or something.
  13. Oh good grief. It was funny. Hilarious, even. So much so that I have laughed about it for this long and it has been awhile. The post was funny. I had NO IDEA who posted it. I'm sorry about the dented mini van. But, the post was hilarious.
  14. Was that YOU, Mrs B?!?!?! LOL! Im sorry. But, I have laughed about your post ever since. Not funny about your van....just so funny to we who have "been there" and can easily paint the picture in our minds .
  15. Only so much crap you can cram in there and expect to come out without any problem. I agree.
  16. Spinoff from the Ms Jessie thread reminded me of my hands-down, all time FAVORITE Pcom moment. There have been MANY, MANY, MANY hilarious moments here but the day that a soccer mom proclaimed that ....."the lady that directs traffic with a stick and a grocery cart got mad at me today and dented my mini van with her tambourine". Thats it . I'm sorry, NOTHING can be better. TAMBOURINE? Have you EVER typed that word before???? That ALONE makes is award winning. The Pubby as a clown thread that kept growing with Lisa is a close second. It was much funnier than it sounds now and Pub
  17. I agree. I know Henry and he knows me. Problem is, I'm 5 hrs away . BTW, at the Taste of Marietta this year, Henry worked harder than ANYBODY! He worked the crowd the entire day and deserves every bit of success he finds.
  18. Thanks, you big ol lug! Errrr, Moose? I'll throw the string out the window and thru the tin can...message on it's way, dear.
  19. me... I had a FB friend for an entire year that I thought I had never met but "knew" her thru Pcom. Then, one night it all came together...I HAD to tell her that I had JUST figured out who she was. We had gone to lunch and she even came to a party I threw. Dang, just dang . She did get a lot of laughs out of it .
  20. Baskin Robbins had my all time favorite treat...Chocolate Mousse Royale ice cream. I still dream of it . They brought it back years ago only seasonally but it has been years since then. No kidding, I love Baskin Robbins and never cease to ask them about my Mousse Royale every time I go . BTW, my first job at 15 yrs old was at the Baskin Robbins in Kennesaw on Barrett across from Olive Garden in front of the mall. Blast from the past!
  21. ahhhhhhhh...the tender musings of The Moose:::piano trill:::. Oh, but how I've missed it!
  22. Tried to go there one night and it was closed . I had heard from a few people that it was a great place though. This economy is ROUGH on even the really good spots.
  23. If the hostess begins leading me to a kid-filled area of a restaurant, I DO request to be seated as far away as possible. If parents taught and demanded manners from their children I would be fine sitting close to them...but, most have no problem letting their cute, little, "gifted" angel( ) ruin other peoples dinner.
  24. I think Subby is doing landscaping. He is honest and is ALWAYS a hard-worker. I would call him in a heartbeat.
  25. I havent but I have always meant to go there. Yes, it's a chain technically but it is a good one or so it seems(I have seen one in Destin). Thanks for the info . On my next trip home to the ATL, Ill have top stop in Macon and give it a try.
