A baby has no clue what you're doing. If you're not taking care of each other as spouses, what does the baby really have anyway?

Cheese cubes are a great idea. Always a good snack to carry, too. Or string cheese.

Okay, glad to know that. I wouldn't think any decent marriage counselor would object to it at all but rather encourage it.

A few one dish things like potato salad or pasta salad, fruit salad and chicken salad sandwiches. Keeps it simple and usually pleases most. Oh, a bottle of wine never hurts either and juice boxes for the little ones.

Did he really say that? Think about what people had to do a hundred years ago in one-two room houses while they are shared one heat source. They were having sex cause they kept havin babies. Maybe they were more creative....hmmmmmmmmmm.

I think it's tacky. All of us have lost loved ones and could all be driving around with stickers on our cars. I think it's sort of irreverent. I certainly wouldn't want my Mothers name being stared at, talked about in the car behind mine, rained on, etc. A grave is different as it is in a place dedicated only to them and to those gone before us as a memorial. Just my opinion. It doesn't offend me to see one. Actually, in most cases, it makes me feel very sympathetic for the total stranger in traffic ahead of me. I know what it feels like to have the need to memorialize and to remember. Like g

Not Facing Your True Personality Is Victimizing Yourself
GipperGirl replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Great thread, Postman. We teach people how to treat us by how we allow ourselves to be treated. I know myself so much better after going thru a few extremely rough and painful years. I got to know parts of my pshyche that I didn't know existed and I also stopped allowing myself to be taken advantage of. The more you live and the rockier the road, the more you refine yourself which makes you a much better benefit to others. -
How wide spread is the power outage in Paulding?
GipperGirl replied to westside family's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Same thing happened to me in Feb. I was in New York. It was warmer there than Ga. I'd love to get Al Gores take on that:). -
This is one of the few topics that make me really angry so I should just keep it to this...I always made my son behave in public. Not doing so was not an option. I didn't stay at home out of fear he wouldn't behave...that is crazy. Now, if I'm out and see children at a table, I ask not to be seated near them. And, why do people think it's okay for kids to get up from the table and walk/run around? My son learned how to entertain himself quietly and we were never in a rush just to pacify a child.

Wow. You all had it rough. We did too down South. Sort of funny looking around today...everybody is in beach mode here(dressed like it's 90). This front has the temp way down. They're walking around with dark tans, skimpy clothes and shivering. -
Great idea:).

I love nights like that .

Don't hate but I'm home cleaning, doing laundry and packing up moving boxes. I know, my life is nothing but glamorous...me and the Kardashians. I am about to pour a little Ketle One in a glass of soda, a splash of cranberry and a twist of lime may fall in the glass too to make this go by a little quicker . What are you all up to tonight?

Show Your Appreciation For Paulding.com!
GipperGirl replied to Computer Rescue's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I agree with you completely, Subby! You are one of the many great friends I have made because of Pcom(we all know you're my favorite ).When my Mother was dying with brain cancer, we were overwhelmed by the show of support and love from Pcom, MANY of which I had never even met and my Mom was not even a member. Everything from meals delivered to my parents house in Dallas to soap and wonderful lotions being mailed to her as gifts....prayers, cards....I'll never forget how much my Mother appreciated that and how much it meant to me. -
Well, I couldnt have thought of a better way to do that, my friend .
-
there has always been a silly rumor that I played that during labor . And, I didnt even have any drugs!
