The Olive Tree restaurant in Hiram is soooo good!
GipperGirl replied to GipperGirl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thank you for the review! Sounds like some good reccommendations. I love that. The spinach dish sounds like something I would love. Do it! I love date night . If you decide to go, tell us how it was and what you both ordered. -

Pho Ga(chicken, beef or shrimp) Yum! I made that a couple nights ago. So bad but sooooo good. You ever tried Vietnamese food? There is a fantastic place downtown. Lots of charm and such great food. I think it's on Broad Street...nothing but restaurants on that end of the street. You sort of build your own bowl...noodles, meat of your choice, bowl full of really fresh herbs. It's one of my favorite places.

Pfft. Get the lead out then and go ! I am a true "foodie" and I say Olive Tree is a jewel of a place. It has ambiance, character, wonderful authentic food and sometimes they have live music(piano). I HATE restaurant chains and this place has all the right elements . You get a lot for your money. I always have enough leftovers for another meal at home. Oh, they have a full bar, too . The cocktails I've had there were mixed perfectly. -

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww. It is a perfect date night place . I know after I work all week I dont always wanna go very far to enjoy a good dinner and maybe a movie or coffee. Hope you get to go soon and have a great time . -
You'll do just fine, I'm sure. Isn't that a miracle right before your eyes? Sweet little innocent baby . Loved before he/she even comes into the world...she's already blessed. My Mother always said that she would have never imagined she could love another baby as much as her own. But, when my son came along....she did. She loved every minute of it. She said b/c she was semi-retired then and more financially stable, etc., she could just stop everything when Alex was there and play, read, sing and act silly. They were as thick as thieves. Alex misses her dearly. Grandparents have such

Glad you asked! It is so good that we drove 5 hours and only had ONE day to be back on the Ga/Fl line at home and couldnt spend the night. But, I was determined to squeeze in a fix at the Olive Tree. This story has a sad ending.... they were not open til 4(which I completely understand). I literally only had an hour to stop and eat and couldnt make it later due to people helping me move, etc. So, when I come back in a couple weeks, if I dont get my Olive Tree fix....I may jus' hurt somebody . It was so sad too to be back home and not able to see any of my friends .

Great thread . I was never a big cartoon fan but to this day I can hardly pass up some classic Looney Tunes. I think they're funnier now than I did then even. And, although not exactly Saturday morning, I am a HUGE Muppet Show fan! Miss Piggy is my hero . On Sunday mornings, me and my brother always watched Lost In Space while we ate breakfast before church.

Everyones dinner sounds sooooo yummy! 'Cept the ham. I dont do pig . I made ribeyes, lima beans, mashed potatoes and a big spinach salad with lots of goodies in it.

this is so sad. I have no idea about the details but just reading this, it sounds terrible. Praying for his Mother and his loved ones, including you NY Gal.

I have read each post and though I respect other's opinions, as I always try to, I respectfully disaagree. But, that is only MY opinion. As far as her copying Madonna, I can definitely see and hear the similarities(they are certainly there), I would rather listen to 12 hours of Barbara Streisand than 3 Lady Gaga songs. Streisand. Talent? Yes. Personally like her? Let's just say no .

Riiiiiiiight...yeah, like Imma buy that . :p

Lady Gaga gets Egged get so far? I cant believe people actually like her and the garbage she "sings"(used very loosely here). I get how being offensive gets publicity but this was beyond a stunt. This is disgusting and I hope it hurts her sales, although I doubt that happening.

Harvard University Dr.Says Parents Of Obese Children

He TRULY is. You know, when you admire someone it can be a big disappointment if you have the chance to meet them and they turn out to be horrible, nasty, rude, arrogant, etc. We were convinced that he is as genuine as it gets and he really does have so much compassion especially for those who fight with obesity. LOL...he asked my skinny, mini Mother what in the world she was doing following him around. Told her she'd blow away with a breeze. -

My Mom and I had the chance to meet Richard Simmons a few years ago. We have always loved him soooooo much. He said the ONE big thing that we should all do immediately to either lose weight or to keep from gaining was to NOT EAT WHILE WATCHING TV! He said we train ourselves to feel bored without bending our arm to put food in our mouth when the tv is on. I thought it was great advice. He's hysterical, by the way. -

"Casey to wear disguise / fake name when released..."
GipperGirl replied to GipperGirl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My point is how disgusted it makes me that there can be hard evidence just like the things you mentioned here and an attorney can spin it a weave his own web out of it. I really think Casey will yet again come out of this suit relatively clean. She may get a fine but nowhere near what they are asking. I think Zenaida comes across pretty sincere. Its easy to see how this affected every area of her life in a negative way. I've heard that her attorney is known for not pulling any punches and has been chomping at the bit for the trial to end so they could proceed. He has a reputation of being v -
Me too, Blondie! What a despicable character. When this story first broke, I went to his website and even IT creeped me out. Nothing blatant on it but it definitely gave me that sickening feeling when you just know somethin' aint right .

"Casey to wear disguise / fake name when released..."
GipperGirl replied to GipperGirl's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Me too. I saw a story last week about a younger guy(around 30)who had a warrant for something he had done...not a felony. I cant remember exactly but he had a clean record except for that and he was not considered dangerous. So, he had to serve 6 months. They showed him preparing to leave jail. They gave him back the clothes he showed up in and some prison flip flops. Had had about $22 and his cell which he said he remembered was almost dead so he didnt want to turn it on until he could get a pen and paper to write numbers down. They released him after dark and he literally didnt have anyt -

True. I've been watching some of the coverage this morning. Listen to THIS crazy plan ...they are saying that her attorneys will most likely say that "Zanny the Nanny" was a fictional person that Casey just made up. It could have been "any" Zenaida Gonzolez. The fact that THIS Zenaida Gonzolez was on the suspect list doesnt mean Casey "defamed" her. WHAT? Now theyre using the fact that she DID lie as a way out? And, she had given the police this womans info including the number of children she has and the color, make and model of her car. Disgusting. -
There are a few really good skin care lines that you wont find anywhere other than a salon or spa. I mean, REALLY amazing products that will cost you some $$$, but you wont believe the difference in your skin. Especially after your first few facial treatments. With the oily problem, be careful not to just treat your face/skin. Your body is over producing oil for a reason. It could be many different reasons. But, if you can find someone really good to help you find the actual cause, youll end up saving a lot of money on extra products and treatments that you dont really need.
