  1. I know, Celine is crazy as #$%&%#@, I agree but she CAN sing. I LOVE this one...never can hear it enough... I love how strong it is....beautiful but powerful.
  2. hehe You are not the only one who feels that way. I cannot imagine not LOVING Florida, the beach, the heat, the sun, the sand! But, everybody's different. How 'bout, I'll go so you dont have to?!
  3. thank you all sooooo much for your support and your kind words. I have made some life long friends because of Pcom and it is just a great place all around.
  4. Thank you for all the well wishes. They mean a lot to me. I'm so glad I can still be on Pcom and keep up with my friends here so easily from anywhere. It's funny that sometimes when you get something you've always dreamed of, you don't even recognize the miracle of it at first. That is how this move is. I have ALWAYS said I was meant to be close to the beach...ANY beach. But, when my job started talking to me about me uprooting myself from my beloved Marietta, which is home....and Cobb and of course, Paulding County that I love so much, it was a little stressful. But, God has set everything
  5. My job(Aveda)is moving me to northern Florida. I'm excited about the change...its a very good thing but to think of leaving my beloved Paulding and Cobb counties...I'm in tears. Been here all my life. But, its finally official, 3 weeks and I'm in a Uhaul with all my crap headed south.
  6. I hate this...my son was a friend at SPHS. I am so sorry. You all fought the good fight and you finished the race...now laid up for sweet Brigette is the crown of life.
  7. Do I? Well, YES I DO! Wait...for real... like daily? Well YEEEAH Dork! HELLLOOOOOOO!??? yes. I do.
  8. if you havent yet, you should post that in my thrift store thread .
  9. save $ and dont have a stroke! hehe thanks! ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! So I was worried about a friend earlier....
  10. So, I have been asked to compose a list of my personal favorite thrift and consignment stores. I DO consider myself an expert on this topic as I have been going to them since I was a kidlet. It was mine and my Mothers favorite thing to do once a month and we'd spend ALL day making the rounds. I still do! Here is my list in order of the best and most organized as well as the best value: *Americas Best This is my favorite. They get lots of new things all the time and are very organized. The deals are amazing and I am a TOTAL tightwad! BTW, there is a new thrift shop in the same shopping
  11. WHAT-eveerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
  12. Dang, yall are deep! I was thinking like..."I would rather have to open mouth kiss Bob Barker than date a tobacco dipper". Yeah, that thread messed with my head big time. Freaked me OUT.
  13. Just popped in my head. I don't know. Could be fun . YOU GO...
  14. I see your point but I have listened since the beginning years ago. They really are like family to each other and they become part of your daily routine. I'm not surprised that he shared it on air. I think it will actually give both of them a lot of support which they will need.
  15. I HATE this too but I wasnt surprised. I had actually thought about it a few times when he was talking about his weekend or whatever. It never seemed to me when she was on that they really clicked and had that much in common. I know opposites attract but its just a thought I always had. I hate it for them and their families though. Very hard to go through no matter what the situation is like.
  16. When I started dating a few years ago, I learned to ask the tobacco question UP FRONT. Went on a date with a very good looking guy and after dinner the dip can came out. Aw hayell naw. Uhuh. Not THIS girl. Bleck! That is about the MOST disgusting thing I can imagine. Divorce would be in order if I was married and he ever started.
  17. Wow! Books make my heart flutter. I have every book I have ever read. I dont borrow them because I want to own them. I have a few signed editions but would love to have more.
  18. My Mom and I did thrift stores once a month my whole life. I still do the same now, at least. But, YES, I have to go home immediately and take a shower. Of course, its easy to wash everything you buy so then its as good as new. Ill type a list of my faves tonight. All in Cobb and Paulding.
  19. Oh yeah, my hair..I DO splurge but since I'm in the biz, I get a generous discount that helps some. I'm an all Aveda girl...hair, makeup, body products, everything.
  20. I am extremely frugal and always have been. I buy most of my and my familys clothes at consignment and thrift stores( I was told last week that I look "high maintenance"...I was thinking "this entire outfit cost about $12.50 minus the shoes...lol). I love a good garage sale Saturday and I am always looking for ways to make a dollar stretch. I drive an older car and it makes no difference to me. I just wanna get from point A to point B and in one piece, preferably. No designer bags for me. If that's your thing then okay but I could NEVER spend $400 on a purse without using it as a barf bag.
  21. I'm way out in Cobb now but I have GOT to stop by! I am frugal and proud of it. I always see such rave reviews here about you all. Next week, I'm there...wednesday.
  22. Petersons in Marietta(big white and red house just on the north side of the Square on Church street/120 Loop). They do fantastic arrangements, etc. They have done ultra modern and exotic things for me as well as simply beautiful, dainty ones for more traditional occasions. ALWAYS super fresh and better than I imagined. I would definitely give them a try. Their prices are very competitive...not crazy.
  23. I love trying new restaurants and hadnt heard of this one. I wanna go! Swallow in the Hollow is EXCELLENT and they have good live music a few nights a week. Greenwoods menu looks great too! I have to try both of them. THANKS!
