I know all about bad gas, I work with RNG.

My pool is somewhat shaded, so it's only recently that I don't have to use some supplemental heat in it. I just got out of it, BTW.

First off...heat pumps don't suck when they are properly sized and installed. They are very efficient in this climate and will provide a high level of comfort. When natural gas is not available, a heat pump is the way to go...period. Dual-fuel systems combine a heat pump with a gas furnace. IMO...these can be a good choice when you have propane. I don't think they really make as much sense with natural gas. To the OP and others who are having problems; get a professional out there to see what is going on. Not your friend's brother, not the guy guy down the street who worked for a hea

EPA can fine them $25'000 per instance.

From what I understand, they got it straitened out. It was actually a mistake AT&T made with the data lines. Luckily, one of their managers is really good with IT stuff and he found the problem. But you're right, there are always some glitches when this kind of technology is involved. I heard it went pretty well yesterday, all things considered.

That would make a great song! Good luck Glen. -
It may be a landmark or something, they do make exceptions to the rebuild policy.

It's McDonald's policy to rebuild when a store gets around 30 years old. They like to keep the stores looking fresh and modern looking, plus the newer buildings are more efficient for both energy and operational design. The new store was not going to have a Playplace at first, McD corp decided that the demographics did not warrant one. But a lot of people from P'Com found that out and called to pitch a proverbial hissy, and they reconsidered. So they got a Playplace. Smaller than the original, but seriously nice! Y'all should go by and see the custom mural! And yep, they've had a busy

Opens at 5;00 AM on Thursday. Took a lot of doing, workmen still there at this late hour doing last-minute stuff (including yours truly), but they should be ready to go in the morning. It does indeed have a Playland. And you should see it! The owners paid an artist to come in and paint an awesome mural in it. Really cool! Not for sure if the Playland will be open tomorrow morning, but they are trying. All the latest equipment in the store, and a double drive-thru. They did some training today to get ready for tomorrow.

Driving it can help to pass the emission test. The computer can lose it's memory after sitting like that, and needs time to reset. Also, old gas in the tank can be a problem. The catalytic converter needs to be made nice and hot for awhile to activate it too. But yes, the testing is a farce. Not enough vehicles fail to make a significant difference in pollution. As with so many government things these days, it's all about the money.

She's still very pretty in the face; that's what about her that always caught my attention.

Careful, this sounds a lot like the sentiment going into the last presidential election...and look at what we got for it. Sonny has not lived up to my expectations either. But he helped to do the main think I wanted to see done...break up the corrupt hold the Dems had on our state legislature and make it a 2-party state again. I'll weigh in and state that I agree with pubby that a Democrat does indeed have a reasonable chance of winning the governor's race. Georgia may be a red state, but it hasn't been one for that long, and the political balance here is still somewhat delicate.
-
On the Dem side I think I like Porter the best. The guy exudes confidence and seems to know his stuff. And he seems fairly moderate. Still...all the Dems are scaring me by echoing a little too much Obama-speak I usually lean Republican, and I suspect I will end up voting that way again. I'm pretty shocked though at the ugly smear campaigns that are coming out of that camp. Frankly, the negative adds make me want to vote for Handel as a "screw you" to the other Republicans. I was probably leaning toward her anyway. Oxendine needs to learn to speak like a man. Really!

You might try going to the Construction Industry Board Division of the Secretary of State. That's who oversees professional licensing in Georgia.

Question about home tankless water heaters
Guard dad replied to marvinthemartian's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have a Rinnai and have had zero trouble with it. I don't see where propane should be a problem in itself. However, an undersized gas line or lack of gas pressure could cause the unit to burn dirty and soot up the burners. Tankless heaters have very high BTU ratings, and the gas lines to existing tank-type heaters will typically be too small. I also don't see why well water would be an issue unless there's too much sediment in it. You should be using a sediment filter on a well system anyway. I would look at your installation; I suspect it was never properly set up.
