I don't think it was a slam on the Raiders, I read it as sayin' that as good as the Raiders seem to be, that the 3rd Round playoffs may be a little more important than this game this year. Of course, I would agree that on the way to the playoffs every game is the most important so far, if not this year. Go Wolfpack!

Ours are too busy fighting each other over the feeders to dive bomb us. Each feeder will have one sitting on top of the support, waiting for another to come anywhere near the feeder. Then they pounce! It's a hoot. We have one feeder in the back, one in the front. When I put them out in the spring, it took less than 2 hours for a bird to find them. They are pretty cool to watch.

I've read reports on the plane and from them there was very little, of the original plane left. There is a difference between racing and air shows. Racing has and always will push the limits. Anyone that sits in the grandstand at a Nascar race or at an Air race should know (unless they are oblivious)that a danger exists when thousands of pounds of metal goes by at 200+ MPH. One of the local Option Sales taxes (LOST) that was passed back in 1990 something I think was a property tax relief sales tax. All money collect by that sales tax is subtracted from the total property tax needed and cuts our property tax bills. We should have 2 credits this year, the LOST and the ESPLOST paying the bond payments. Haven't seen my bill yet however to see if it started this year or not.

Everyone under 65 yo should have gotten a little relief from the bond payments being made from the SPLOST. I wished they'd show the detail, I'd like to see if the Board kept their promise....

Nope. Have R-19 in the walls and R-30+ in the ceilings. Takes a lot colder than this to get the house to cool off. Esp with the kids and wife running their PCs 24/7 and leaving all the lights on.

As I understand it the mil rate on the tags should be the same as your property tax. I tried for a long time not to pay more for a vehicle than I paid for my first (mobile) home. But lately, you can't find much of anything under $15K.
