Thanks everybody. I know that everybody that has this surgery is always so glad they did once they are on the other side of it, but it's just kinda scary right now! I'll post an update tomorrow afternoon and let you all know how it went.

Do your children like to dress up in costumes for fun?

The one in Rockmart had a whole aisle of them last night. -
Most of the Lawry's marinades are pretty salty. I've always done the 30 minutes marinade and put it on the grill. The teriyaki is my favorite.

I make a big pan of cornbread and about a dozen pieces of bread toasted on low heat til they just crumble into dust. I crumble it all up and add a couple of eggs, chicken broth, finely chopped onion, and LOTS of sage. My granddaddy adds oysters to this same recipe.

Yeah, a friend of mine was getting up to give a speech and stepped on the hem of her own dress, and just so happened to grab the top just in time! That's what herve leger dresses are for... ...they kinda have the opposite effect of the maxi dress! -

I've never done it with bisquick or flour and baking soda. I always use cake flour. -

The dry erase markers are for the teachers. The composition books are probably to take notes/journal in, so that they all remain in the same place. Loose leaf paper would be for things that need to be turned in. I went yesterday and got some basics for my 3 kids, ages pre-k, elem, and middle. I haven't bought binders or any of the dry erase markers or anything, but I got a TON of spiral notebooks, notebook paper, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, scissors, glue, erasers, etc...and I spent $20 at Target. They had the 10-packs of spiral notebooks for 60 cents...crayons, glue, and glue

Never admit that your dog/cat had puppies/kittens, or that you are looking to purchase/adopt a full blooded animal and not one from the shelter. ETA DISCLAIMER: My puppy came from the pound so don't bash me!

From Starbucks, venti caramel macchiato, add whip. But those are only once in a while. I can't afford 3 a day like BabeCake! Every day, it's Folgers Columbian, made extra strong, with my new favorite liquid creamer...Southern Butter Pecan by Int'l Delight. Before I discovered that, it was French Vanilla by Coffeemate.

I'm with u, Jack...onions are great any way you eat them! I like to dip my pizza in ranch dressing. And I like saltines in applesauce...and wendy's fries in a frosty!

Is there a way to check to see if it's draining fully? It used to be in a basement where it had to pump water from the floor to the ceiling, but it's been on a floor for the past year or so where it's only half way up the wall...

I like the quote in Oscar's signature. "To forgive is to set a prisoner free...only to find out that prisoner was you"...or something along those lines. SOOOOOO TRUE!

Thanks, y'all...I'll try it!

No. A guy at the appliance store told my mom that front loaders have a seal that needs to be cleaned periodically to avoid this. Mine is just a regular top loader...wonder if it has a seal, too? Okay, I'll try that. Thanks!

Okay, so my washing machine is making all my clothes smell soured or mildewed or something. I'm not leaving the clothes in there or anything...as soon as I take them out, they smell that way. I've ran a cycle with just hot water and bleach, trying to kill it...I use liquid fabric softener...dryer sheets...everything, but nothing helps! Any idea what is causing it? Oh, and my washer is only like 3 years old!!

She's a b*tch, he's an idiot...and now they have money and fame which inherently increased both of those qualities.

What makes you think you have damage? I'm asking because I know that some insurance companies can't afford the man power to send adjustors out to every house, so they are taking the word of every fly-by-night roofer out there, and paying claims that don't need to be paid. Some of these roofers see dollar signs, and say there is damage sometimes when there is not. Then, when one house gets a new roof in the neighborhood, EVERYBODY thinks they need one, and get mad when their insurance adjustor says no. Really, if you don't have true damage, you shouldn't want to file a claim and g

I had a problem with my hair falling out last year, and my hair dresser suggested a couple of supplements. Biotin & silica, I think were the main two. Mine stopped as suddenly as it started though, so I never had a chance to try them. (Just a stressful divorce... ) She said that they recommend them to all of their alopecia (sp?) clients.

Oh, wow, I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers are with the family, especially if this was sudden and unexpected.

Get her a little baby pool and some cups and rubber duckies and let her play!
