I don't run in any drug circles, but in my 20 years since high school graduation I know personally of 6 people who've become hooked on heroin and of those two have died from OD'ing on it. One of the OD stories is horrible, as it wasn't long after HS that a good friend took off across the country and no-one heard from him again. Seems he made it out west where he OD'd on the drug, and was left for dead on the sidewalk dumped out of a vehicle, according to witnesses who called an ambulance. His parents were only notified when a county coroner sought out whom to charge for storing his body i

I need help with a small EYE tablet...................

Did you ever sync your mini to your account via iTunes when you first got it? I believe that's the first step in being able to port over paid for apps. And AFAIK game "names" and saves and junk are all local to the device unless there is a backup to iCloud option in the game itself or backup from one device (orig iPad) and restore to the mini. -
Parents had the expanded metal style small hole mesh installed on theirs when they had new gutters put on about a decade ago. I get on their roof once a year and blow off the fall debris that collect on the roof on the shallow slopes and in the valleys. Some junk does collect in the mesh, mainly pine needles, but with a yearly maintenance with a blower, and using a regular type broom to sweep off the tops of the guards from the roof, no problems what-so-ever. Otherwise the yearly maintenance was to sit on the edges of the roof and lean out in order to hand clean out the gutters as the

Guess Who Wound Up On The Front Page Of Yahoo?

There's a link in the main article as well as the 2nd link in his post that leads to his index charts of best and worst vehicles. But I'm going to assume these ratings are all based on what is still "on the market" and being traded, which represent cars which at least still carry some sort of value. What would be really telling is having a national listing of what cars end up in the recycling (junk) yards, with reasons why they're there, excluding the actual wrecks. I looked at index and while I won't argue them, the Pontiac/Olds lines from the last 15 years seem to be missing from all -
One Cent retailer CUTTING 2,000 jobs, CLOSING 33 stores

First time I walked into a Harbor Freight I felt like I had walked into an India version of an American tool store at Chinese prices, it was like being in a whole different country. Since then I've found out Harbor Freight consists of mainly "Irregular" tools that are made for other stores/brands, but cheaper for them to re-brand them and ship and sell the final product at a "discount" than it is to melt it back down and remake them. So many times I may need something and go into the HF in D'ville only to examine it and decide to go buy the "quality" product from another store, unfortuna -
My last experience with watching TWC for something was: 1. Show weather forecast across all the US. 2. 5 minutes of commercials, half of which was for their own "shows" 3. Show for 10 minutes what the bad weather has already done and say they'll show where it's heading "next" 4. 5 more minutes of commercials 5. Show about 30 seconds of the dangerous weather on the way before repeating starting at step 1 At least local channels will break into whatever is currently on the air, including commercials, to show you if you need to seek shelter.

In a case of "Customers NEED us more than we need THEM" The Weather Channel has been dropped from DirecTV until TWC quits trying to extort them. Sometimes, like many others, I like to come onto P.com and beat my own drum. And I found some images online that, upon first glance, may shock some folks But with a bit further study, as you can tell, there's really nothing to be concerned about If some folks find these a bit "too much" you can always dig up some spare change And go buy yourself a little something to get the bad taste out of your mouth Or, better yet, distract yourself by going out to watch your favorite local band play And, if this thread has left you fe

I usually like my storms like I like my women, wet and nasty, but this was a bit much. Power went out here at Ridge/Hwy61 about for us and Greystone was showing intermittent outages in the area when the Hurricane.. er.. Tornado.. uh.. Gusty winds came through. Finally got power back on a little after 8am.

Remember that one time you were fun and had a good time? Neither do we... You ought to try to smoke more pot. -
Passlock security system. Issue will lie in the ignition switch itself not the key. Google "impala passlock bypass" or "impala passlock fix"

I'd personally like to see a portion of the tax money made from legalization spent on treatment for those on opiates/heroin as well as other real "hard" drugs.

From what I've been reading all these stores in CO are bringing in anywhere from $50-$70 THOUSAND dollars per day since the first. Fox news had a poll up yesterday asking if it "were Legal in your state" would you purchase for recreational consumption and the poll had hit somewhere in the %70+ yes range. We aren't talking millions, nor billions, but this has potential to turn into a hundreds of billions of dollars a year industry here in the states. Honestly if Georgia started talking about making it legal I'd damn well be one of the first to jump in on the ground floor to being ab

Auto as in fully automatic firing machine gun (clip empties in one pull of trigger)? Requires a special federal permit for such. If you mean an assault rifle and .223 (5.56 nato), you can check Wal-Mart or Academy sports for a Bushmaster (or similar) AR-15 to get a baseline of local retail new. Then you can hit the smaller gun stores, pawn shops and such, for used prices, and check on some off branded types. There's also Gunbroker dot Com, which is a grab-bag of weapons. Research fully before jumping in. Half the fun of the AR-15 is buying all the stuff to modify it to look like..

My feeling is it was some kind of "publicity stunt" by the folks in the show itself and A&E over reacted which helped to feed into the publicity. The show has never been shy about extolling christian and family values with each episode that has aired since it first started. And none of the companies they merchandise through really came out against Phil except for CB who quickly 180'd their stance.

Better than Mexican music which is all about riding your mule into town, and finding out the girl you used to love has now had 15 kids by marrying your cousin, getting drunk and sad then riding your mule back out of town again.

Oh grow up and accept that you're doing something wrong no matter how you "feel" you're not. You and your ilk create an unsafe situation on the roads. Man up and put the lights back in your vehicle it came with or buy a car with the proper light lenses. Proper projector lens vs. Halogen housing install: Proper projector cutoff: As you see above in the last photo, the signs on the road aren't supposed to glow like stadium lights as you approach them.
-
OEM factory HID's use projector lenses and auto-leveling systems that cut out the light spray that would otherwise end up in the faces of oncoming drivers. How can the bolded part above be achieved from a halogen housing without the parts the OEM factory HIDs use? It cannot, and that's where the issue becomes "technically illegal". When you install and use those lights in a halogen housing you put out a bright uncontrolled halo of light in front of the vehicle that will dilate the eyes of oncoming drivers. This will happen no matter how much you try to "adjust" the halogen housing on

I think you're trying to provoke me into some type of discussion about them being okay based on some false equivalence fallacy. Link Here concerning legality: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/Hid/conversions/conversions.html "What about the law, what does it have to say on the matter? In virtually every first-world country, HID "retrofits" into halogen headlamps are illegal. They're illegal clear across Europe and in all of the many countries that use European ECE headlight regulations. They're illegal in the US and Canada. Some people dismiss this because North American

Until you sell the car, and the new owner pays the tax on the value, yet again. The only way this tax benefits anyone but the state is if you buy the car new, and drive it to the junkyard when it's at the end of it's life. Otherwise every time the car changes hands, the tax is paid yet again, instead of a fair yearly valuation basis.

Personally, in all my recent bad weather commutes, and even normal ones, I'd just wish folks would take the time to check their Dodgammed tail-lights. Rode behind a fool last night that had Zero lights on the rear of the vehicle. Oh but their brake lights lit up fine when they were slowing, but running up on them in the rain then riding behind them up 61 was no fun. 2 out of 3 brake lights out also seems to be the norm these days as well. Prolly just jinxed my ass but oh well. OH OH OH, edited to add: And everyone that installs aftermarket HID's in their Halogen headlight housings.

OH yes. The place where the cashier girl said, "Sorry we's ain't gots no breastsises today", while several others were walking around behind the counter eating them. And where the manager had another employee dig an expired "cake" out of the garbage in front of me, then wipe the container off with a dirty rag, stuck it in a bag and hand it to me, to make up for my wait once. I'd say the baby changing thing just isn't unexpected in this story.
