  1. I can fully fully commensurate with that feeling, and am very understanding. In reality the dog doesn't know it's doing wrong and the window of opportunity to associate the dogs actions to "being bad" is very short. With the working dogs they're susceptible to the breeding in of "controlling" those things they wish to protect. Unfortunately you got a dog with an unknown early upbringing and apparently it's idea of protecting your home is to fall back on it's breeding. When you've come to your wits end then something of this training style becomes very acceptable, otherwise I, myself, w
  2. I hate hate hate to suggest it but.. Imma be that guy and say... Shock Collar. Put it on her, let her out, everytime she goes at a kid, light her up. After the 5th time, she'll be cured. It's horrible but please consider that you're going to drop the dog off somewhere and no telling who will get her along with the fact that even then she'll still remain a child biting dog with an unsuspecting new owner. So so sorry. :cray: But you can train this out of her, and if you do, everyone wins.
  3. I don't mind no hairs in my cheese dip. I just pick em out and keep on eatin, takes too long to flag down a server, complain, send it back, and gets a new one. Hell my bill would probably arrive afore they get back with that. That's why I takes my youngin's to the golden corral and encourage them to stick their hands in everythin. Cheaper than gettin them the shots from the doc.
  4. Kinda hard to do now seeing as he's already withdrawn his name from this election, and agreed not to seek it again.
  5. It gets even better per 11Alive: http://www.11alive.com/story/news/local/2014/03/14/paulding-county-judge-daughter-nepotism/6431565/ Elizabeth Williams issued a statement Monday saying: "I qualified as a candidate for Paulding Superior Court Judge in good faith and complied with every law in that regard. I qualified because I come from a family of lawyers..."
  6. I just saw this on the televised news earlier that Elizabeth Osborne Williams has dropped from running for her fathers position. More on ajc: http://politics.blog.ajc.com/2014/03/17/daughter-withdraws-as-candidate-for-fathers-judgeship/ The result of which will be, next year, Gov. Nathan Deal – or Gov. Jason Carter, will get a free judicial appointment
  7. If you are looking for an answer to this I don't think you'll get it here, other than it's always been this way. Last accident I was in, minor, involved hitting someone pulling out into the roadway who never looked in my direction, by trying to not hit them I mitigated any severe damage, but stopping/missing them wasn't going to happen, and I was doing under the limit and was anticipating them pulling out as it was a bad location for this type of accident in the past. The PCSO first responder who showed up asked us to pull into a nearby parking lot and wait, and when the GSP guy showed
  8. For all my copy / paste needs I use this:
  9. I like the update honestly. It looks more 2014 and less 2004.
  10. I know where you're at since I'm watching you!!
  11. I like it, looks cleaner and well.. new. Only thing I've noticed so far, once you click "view new content" and if you open a post, if someone else replies in it, it isn't listed back into the "view new content" list on my end. I've since noticed there's a filter box after clicking view new content on the left that handles this issue.
  12. I had to clear my p.com cookies on firefox about an hour ago when the DNS was updated for the new server, as Chrome was showing p.com being down, yet firefox was still pulling up old server.
  13. Have you thought about the Zenith's with the new channel changing thingy?
  14. Also wanted to add this, Mopar went to some weird Key In Ignition Off/Ignition On stuff to be able to clear codes on their vehicles sometime in the oughts. It's a pain if that's how yours is.
  15. You may want to verify that there is only one sensor for that vehicle and not two, as you might have been replacing the "good" one.
  16. Well it's that time again to lose two hours. And afore you go off saying, but.. we're moving only an hour ahead. Well yes, you move the clock from 2 to 3am.. plus whatever you were going to do 'tween those hours you gotta do now between 3 and 4am... so relativistically speaking, two hours will be lost instead of one.
  17. Heard from the PCSO that it was just that area of town sliding that much more downhill in regards to the rest of the county.
  18. Yes you probably see "just the compressor" online for that amount. But A/C systems in automobiles are the debil to work on, as you need all sorts of proper licenses and equipment to work on these things. The thing is that when an A/C compressor in a car fails it usually contaminates the entire system with particles from the compressor which requires most of the system components to be replaced. In the industry a compressor failure is called "black death" since the metal and carbon bits of the compressor are distributed throughout the hoses, condenser, and evaporator leaving a black residu
  19. I think the area around bill carruth pkwy is known as stinky paulding.
  20. According to what I've read on it, Staples was a bigger entity than Office Max or Depot before they merged. But I remember saying this before, I just don't see how areas can support two or even three of these business is such close proximity when Wal-Mart and others can out do them on price on office basics, like paper and inks. Another thing that's been mentioned in the articles is that Staples does half their business through the internet these days so they really are losing money on their stores that are in the areas with direct competition. What I'd really like to see is stores s
  21. Red Lobster is one of those places barely hanging on these days. The parent company that owns the chain is (or already has) "letting them go" to go at their business all alone these days and word is they may be just a memory in a few years.
  22. Hey guys, never replied back to this topic because frankly, it was moving along on it's own pretty good, and I didn't want to go naming restaurant names. Suffice to say the place I was talking about in my first post wasn't a mexican place at all, but it is a Paulding chain casual dining place that seems to be flailing around with changing it's entire menu, and the dinner I got was about the quality of the frozen dinner I posted the pic of. Back in Dec/Jan there were news stories appearing about how quite a few of the casual dining (sit down/non dress up/server for tables) chains are
  23. Has anyone else noticed that nearly all the casual dining places have hit rock bottom on their food quality and selection. I'm not going to say which one I went to recently (in fact I've been to quite a few places now and had similar experiences), but the one that sticks out the most is when they pretty much served me this: dusted with cilantro and fresh avocado wedges on the side. Half the sit down places I've been to recently are now like this, wanna be Mexican restaurants with menus mostly consisting of "Chipotle Lime" Entree "with cilantro and avacado wedges", and it tast
  24. But everything still works if you understand how to make it work since clicking on the buttons on top of the "posting box" is currently disabled. = : ) = : D = 8 ) etc.. (no spaces make the emoticon) Images still work if you upload them to another site (imageshack or photobucket) and take the direct URL link for the image and put it 'tween [ IMG] and [ /IMG] (remove the spaces in there for proper usage). Videos from youtube still work if you take the video link in your address bar and post it in between the [ Media] [ /media] tags. BBCode is fairly simple to learn and use in t
