My parents are in Europe now. They left a week ago today. Right now they are in Belgium, and I had the happy chance of chatting with my mom yesterday evening. I asked her if they had heard about this. She said no, they hadn't. I gave her a brief summary, and she had the same opinion as I, (nut and tree and all that). The media (both sides) is having a fantastic time with this. This whack-job in Florida just wants attention. I read that book back in the mid 90's and it was an eye opener for me. My parents and sister are all A+, I got a recessive from both my parents and am the only one with O+; of course I didn't know that until I was 17 and donated blood for the first time. gotcha! Oh, socks are another thing of mine. I think it's gross to wear socks with no shoes; like walking around in socks. No, I hate that. I am either barefoot in bed or, up and about with socks and shoes on or house shoes. I just can't stop thinking about all the random things my socks or feet are picking up. Gross. I also think the bottoms of shoes are nasty, and try not to even look at them. And before you ask, yes, I do vacuum more frequently than what is probably considered "average".

I do this as well. Every. single. time. 13 stairs in the house and 5 off the front porch.

I can't stand going barefoot. It's sickening to me. My bare feet on any surface other than sheets, makes me nervous.

Me! We got U-verse in November of 2008. The big selling point for my husband was that any DVR'd show could be watched on any tv in the house. So, yes we like it a lot.

I've noticed it too. Sometime last year my husband and I took his 93 year old grandmother to Sam's. There she was pushing her cart around while obese folks about half her age were scooting around the store.

OMG! I used to have those rock things too! Never knew that those nasty smelly things were coming from my tonsils. Now that I think about it, I never had anymore after my tonsils were out.

I had mine out when I was 15. This was back in 1987 and it about took an act of congress to get your tonsils removed back then. I hat tonsillitis for the better part of a year. As soon as my Keflex ran out, they would flare up again. It got so bad that I was vomiting several times a day whether or not I ate anything so FINALLY, we were able to find someone to take them out. His name was George Harrison, like from the beatles . I had never had strep before then and never have to this day. I rarely get colds or things like that. I've never been nearly as sick since my tonsils came out

We used to use Dr. Sisk. He is awesome! Does he still draw pictures for the kids? My girls always loved when he did that and when he tried to "guess" what they had recently eaten while pressing their abdomen during an exam.

My 8 year old eats like crazy. Pretty healthy food for the most part. He's a rail, only weighs 53 lbs. He's been wearing the same shorts for three summers in a row, he has grown taller though. Oh, and his feet have gone through a MAJOR growth spurt in the last few months.

Congratulations to both of you! And TBAR married my cousin in July. He sure does get around!
