  1. Ugh. On a rare occasion, we got some frozen yogurt last night, and I think I just threw up a little after reading your comment. Thankfully, there was no lady there with an oxygen tank. But we did go just minutes before closing, so you never know. I think I'm going to be sick.
  2. You cannot buy one for Seven Hills.
  3. Double-tap your home button (circular button) and then press and hold the apps to close them. This will save you valuable battery life. You will LOVE the phone, trust me!
  4. I am so sorry. I can't even imagine your pain. God bless you and your family, and I will say extra prayers for you tomorrow.
  5. Here is a blog following upcoming changes in the North Paulding area: http://northpauldingcounty.blogspot.com/ Here is the zoning plan for the intersection of Cedarcrest Rd and Cobb Pkwy / Hwy 41: http://zoning.comdev.cobbcountyga.gov/2012-03/final_other_business/ITEM_02.pdf
  6. I've heard rumor that the steakhouse is Dantanna's and the bank is Chase, but I cannot confirm those.
  7. There is definitely a McDonald's going there. Also, a steakhouse and a bank. I will post my sources once I get on my computer later tonight.
  8. Ugh, you know how I hate a soda-stealer. I captured a picture on 04/15/2012 of this lady who drove up to the McDonald's at Crossroads, parked her car, walked inside, filled up her extra-large cup with soda, walked out, got back in her car, and drove away. Surely if she could afford her nice car, nice clothes, nice bike rack, and presumably nice bikes, she can afford a $1 cup of soda. Shame on you, lady.
  9. Oh, poor lady. I hope that she will see a therapist. It definitely sounds like it could be depression. My great aunt was severely depressed before she died a few years ago, to the point that she had to be hospitalized a few times. Depression really affects older folks a lot more than we sometimes realize, even though 68 isn't that old. I hope your mom gets better and that she is willing to get the care that she probably needs. Good luck.
  10. Wow! Amazing! The quality of the equipment that they make today is probably not the same quality of the stuff they made 22 years ago. We have a Honda mower and only about 1/3 acre of grass. I still would've thought it would last longer than 10 years. Maybe it just needs a tuneup.
  11. I used to love that show! That was back when people weren't so overly sensitive and so paranoid about being PC. Homey don't play dat!
  12. Our mower is almost 10 years old and is showing its age, and we will definitely keep you in mind when we need crutches for it!
  13. Good idea, although I wouldn't recommend storing them on top of shelves because it looks junky and cluttered that way. I'm sure people would love to take advantage of using these!
  14. Uhhhhhh, what??? I am usually on top of these things! Matthew is in a movie about male strippers? I am so there! Drool!!!
  15. I have lots of games going, too. By the time I finish all my "ready - your move" games, another one is ready! I just did downloaded the update - cool!
  16. I downloaded the update to my iPhone this morning but still need to update my iPad, which is where I do 99% of my "art" (if you can call it that). Love this game! I just wish there were more people who actually drew instead of spelling the word out.
  17. He was a legend who will be missed by many. NYE will never be the same.
  18. It definitely sounded like only one, thank goodness. I wonder if it could have been a wild dog. I don't know. Or a fox, maybe? Of course it definitely could have been the squatch...
  19. In my world, there is no such thing as a "good" bug!
  20. I thought there was a grandparent's law that protected the rights of grandparents to see their grandchildren? I discovered this when I was searching for aunt's rights, for which there are none.
  21. My dog just went nuts outside after hearing something in our back woods, just beyond our fence. The noise sounded like a hoarse bark. Almost like what a dog would sound after it barked for hours and hours on end. Could this be a coyote? Another animal? Can coyotes hop my split rail fence? Hurt my 60lb dog? I'm a bit freaked out with the animal being so close to my dog. I can deal with the wild turkey we have seen, but not so much with the coyote!
  22. I heard that they are finally building the movie theater / restaurants / shopping center that they had promised so long ago. A very reliable source told me that.
  23. Dr Scott Lampert did 3 retina surgeries on me and I LOVE him. I don't know if he does children, though. He is with GA Retina near Kennestone.
  24. I need to get with it - This is news to me, too!
