He doesn't want to fill the trash can so he has to take it out! Hahaha!!!

Darn! I used to have them on the back door of my old house and it drove me crazy, too. I don't know of any tricks, unfortunately. I used to do each "pain" by outlining it and then doing the inside. I have heard to do all the glass on one side in one direction (ie up and down) and then the glass on the other side in the other direction (ie left and right) so that if there is a streak when you are done, you know which side it came from. You better start now - Spring will be over by the time you are done!

DH is driving me crazy. From the moment he gets home to the moment he goes to bed, he sits on the couch and cracks his toes. Over. And. Over. And. Over. Again. I honestly didn't think it was humanly possible for someone to crack their toes this often. It's like every 2 minutes, seriously. You'd think by now that his toe joints would be so big that they wouldn't even fit in his shoes. I constantly ask him to please stop, to no avail. I've even yelled once or twice. I can't get him to stop and it is driving me absolutely BONKERS. (And yes, I'm 100% serious.) What habit does your significa

Have you checked to see if your grids can be removed? My MIL had doors where she was able to remove the grids to clean the glass, and then put them back on.

I'd suggest Garden Ridge, too. They always have tons of plastic-like wicker that looks pretty decent and at affordable prices. That's probably where I'm going when I decide to purchase mine. I don't have any seating on my porch right now and it's driving me crazy because this is the perfect weather to sit out there!

Can you share your recipe, MissSophie? I am interested in trying this after I finish the big jug of detergent that I just bought. Whatever I use will have to have a lavender scent! -
Prayers for your FIL. I hope everything turns out okay.

I'm 36 for 3 more weeks, and I feel like an adult and a kid all wrapped up in one. I tend to be on the reserved/quiet/mature side, but then I also go careening around the house chasing my dog and talking to her in what I believe to be her dog voice. I've also danced in the middle of the bowling alley to a Justin Bieber song to entertain my 3-yr-old niece. So yeah, probably not all grown up yet.

Good for you! The sooner, the better! I hope you get it!

I got this focus group opportunity sent to me from 20/20 Research, but cannot use it because I am not a hair care professional. If you are a hair stylist, feel free to take the survey and see if you qualify! (And if you want to see the original email, PM me your email address and I'll be glad to email the invitation to you!) Put up your feet, sit back and relax. 20/20 Research is bringing the focus group to you! (#12-0127) We are currently conducting a research study about 'Hair Care Professionals' and would like to invite Hair Stylists to participate using an online bulletin boa

Kim, I have something called "Addison's Disease", which means that my adrenal glands don't function at all. I've had this relatively rare disease since 1997. I'm able to live normally for the most part, with the help of Hydrocortisone (Prednisone/Cortef) and Florinef pills every day. I did have a lot of weight gain from the steroid pills. I gained 20lbs in 3 days from the pills and IV in the hospital, although I was underweight at the time to begin with. I also have dark areas around my elbows, knees, fingers, and other joints due to problems with my ACTH, related to my Addison's. Not likely t

I haven't heard of either. However, I did vote early at the Crossroads library! I came Friday afternoon and was wearing the "USA" tshirt that someone commented on! Thanks for your work!

Stuck In TN with the Tornados, Remington Place Sub?

Prayers for you! -
We were at a restaurant near Crossroads and they made us get in the back room. Supposedly a funnel was in Seven Hills and at Shelton Elementary School. I've never been so scared stiff in all my life. Luckily, the storm passed and we are all fine. We drove by Shelton and couldn't see any damage, and nothing but flooding in our neighborhood from what I can tell. Scary stuff. I'm still shaking.

Our buyer was paying $100k in cash and financing the rest, and we grabbed her and held on for dear life! I can't understand why someone wouldn't do the same for you! It sounds like maybe your agent isn't representing you properly. If its not that, I don't know what else it could be besides just really bad luck.

We listed our house on 2/9/10 and by 4/9/10 we had put an offer on another house, got a good offer on our house, closed on both, and moved into our new home. I realize that we were *COMPLETELY* lucky. I can definitely understand houses "slipping by" with so many people wanting a deal and multiple offers on the same house, but 2 years??? That seems like an awful long time to me. If you are even thinking that your real estate agent might not have your best interest at heart, or that he/she isn't doing the best job possible, I would definitely look for someone else. Didn't you say a while ago tha

How to NOT have to peel boiled eggs.
Christine0402 replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Funny story ... One year my sister helped my mom make hard boiled eggs for Easter. As we started cracking them to eat with dinner, we realized that only some of them had cooked! So some of us ended up having raw egg over our dinner plates of food! Turns out, my sister was running late and decided to cut the heating/cooling time in half! Haha! We talk about this every single year at Easter!
