I was thinking that exact same thing before I read what you wrote. I'm glad he's well enough to break a foot and wish him a speedy recovery so he can get back to boy fun.

Middleschooler was worried about the CRCT's, but with no reason it seems. He scored a 926 in Social Studies, 888 in science, 870 in English/Language Arts. I wondered why he was offered Advanced SS, science and Spanish next year and now I know. Math isn't his best subject by any means and he just met standards with an 818, but we were stunned that he did so well overall.

I'm with ya' on that one for sure!!!!!! I was happy to turn 50.

I've been called once in Cobb and never in Paulding. Hubby has never been called at all.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one the noticed that. However, she's not an elected official, I'd expect better than childish antics from a commissioner.

The joke isn't just on Pcom, Hubby was given a Tunnel Woker Pass by a co worker when we moved here 17 years ago.

S/O HOA's (Home Owner's Associations)
dawneykids replied to cookies are sweet's topic in RECENT TOPICS
When my MIL lived in a small neighborhood in Powder Springs behind the post office, she wanted her house painted one year for her birthday. So, all the kids and grandkids got together, bought all the supplies and painted one whole weekend. It never occurred to her and certainly not to us to get permission from anyone. The Tuesday after we'd finished, she got a letter from her HOA saying that the colors that I chose were not on the approved color list. They went back and forth and after several people called the HOA and people kept stopping by wanting to know where her color palet came from, tho -

More brilliant words have never been posted on Pcom!!!!!!!! Living with a severely autistic child can be a challenge at times, but my daughter and I were just talking last night about how we wouldn't change anything about my granddaughter. She's 11 now and the size of an adult and functions on the level of about a 3-4 year old. But being 11, hormones are making their debut throwing a wrench into that 3 year old behavior at times. But even so, all at once she will be as clear as you or I and come up with something so funny and witty, it leaves us speechless and then in fits of laughter. Of- 10 replies

We have had the same primary care dr for almost 20 years, but his practice has grown by leaps and bounds and to get an appointment for something as generic as a sore throat or ear ache is next to impossible. So, we go to New Hope Urgent Care and every time I've ever been there, I already knew what was wrong with me or mine before I went, we just needed a diagnosis and meds. If I had an odd issue with symptoms I had never had before, I'd definitely go to my primary care dr for tests and treatment. I would never expect an ER to run the same kind of tests to diagnose a non routine health issue.

I don't think so, just a free decal. My daughter said the same thing.

They hardly ever reset a fracture in an ER. They administer pain management and refer to an ortho pronto because what would the consequences be if it was set improperly, imagine the outrage then? Specialists don't normally work in an ER, they're there for immediate and acute treatment, then you're referred to whatever specialist they think you need. Hubby cut half hif finger at work, the bone was sticking out and even at Piedmont, he was referred to a specialist after pain meds and a bandage and sent home. It's called an EMERGENCY room for a reason, it's not to take the place of a regular, di

I could spend days on it, I love them all!! The reason I originally got one was because of a Livingsocial deal. For $25.00, you got $50.00 to spend plus free shipping.

i have a question for people who live on old cartersville road
dawneykids replied to mm12's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I always use Bone cr when going toward Crossroads. It's a public road, it aliviates the hassle of a busy intersection with no left turn light, and it cuts off a huge triangle that you don't have to drive on. Bone puts me out a mile down from the light and all the cars that come with it. Why wouldn't you use Bone cr as a cut through? I've used it for the 17 years Ive lived here and don't intend to change now. Indeed!! -
Agreed. I have NEVER left that hospital or any other, that they haven't given written instructions to 'follow up with your dr' and if you don't have one, they can recommend one.

Too young, so sad. RIP. -
I agree. My 8 year old granddaughter was asking about swimming today and grilling out and my daughter asked her if she she knew what Memorial Day was about and she had no clue. So she explained it to her and my 5 year old grandson. I thought they learned this stuff in school. I guess with getting out before the actual holiday, they may not learn about it even if they should.

Thank you for trying! They use that same chair and wall for several of the decals, so I wonder if the designs are on something like a green screen or some other technological magical thing I don't know about. Thank y'all for trying.

Did the men who flew into the world Trade Center have visas of some sort? Look how well that turned out.

Do you trade games and such? You may want to read this.......

It's probably an attempt to cover their behinds for some reason or another. -
Me too and I had the same experience as others on her who had substandard products after it was sold. Why would you buy a bakery and then serve old, stale cupcakes and cookies? I don't get why people buy businesses that they have no idea how to run and then lose their shirts. It's crazy to me.

It probably has something with people not being able to trade in games or clubs that are stolen, same kind of thing at a pawn shop. -
My niece got her papers at Office Max, did it herself and is as divorced as someone who used a lawyer.
