  1. No, no ,no, I'm sooo sorry. There's a special place in He!! for someone who would do something so malicious.
  2. Workshops for parents? WORKSHOPS for parents??? Seriously, for grade school math? RIDICULOUS! If they would leave it the he!! alone, parents would be able to help their kids. Middleschooler is terrible at math, he simply doesn't get it. And then add all the changes in terms, paths to the answers, etc., I'm totally up the creek when trying to help him. You don't need to give a kid a choice in the way they 'find' the answer to a problem, give them the problem, teach them how to solve it and be done with it. Giving a kid 7 choices to find an answer is a disaster, they get the steps confused and u
  3. OMG, I K-N-O-W!!!!!!!!!!!! I was considering buying Hubby a bike for Fathers Day and went in with several questions about cost, gift cards, bike styles, etc. What a mistake. I couldn't get out of there, I felt like I was being bonked on the head by a bully. IF I choose to get him a bike, it won't come from there. The experience soured me from all bike talk for the time being.
  4. Does he have to get permission from Paulding County or the city of Hiram only? And the cruiser raised questions when it was bought. I guess he thought if he waited long enough, people would forget about that. In the long run, won't this actually hurt his business? Whether it's approved or not, I'd NEVER do business with someone who was trying to do something like this. EVER. Not a smart move on his part on many different levels, IMO.
  5. Yes, that is Joey. He's turned into a giant piece of playful muscle.
  6. I'm addicted to waldy cows now..........I mean wall decals . Problem is is that I have so much artwork, large and small, I have no wall space left.
  7. OK, you're my new favorite person. Thank you for getting this in the post!
  8. I'll take a few and try to post them, but I'm never successful at that!
  9. Actually, he may have hired a hit man for me after the project we did yesterday. I had the bright idea of putting a very large wall decal of a tree blowing in the wind with about a million leaves that have to be individually added. We had to rent a scaffold and a truck to get it home, set it up, do the work, clean up, return all the equipment, etc. It looks FANTASTIC and after all that, he still likes me. He's definitely a keeper!!
  10. I would think that too except that he mentioned that Hubby had a brother named XXXX and another brother and sister. He also mentioned that he had worked with him at Georgia Power according to my info and that he had graduated with him at Wills. So, Hubby is the guy that was posted about for sure.
  11. I think so too, just the idea that someone that read that and thinks my husband is dead is horrible.
  12. I got a call from my BIL yesterday with a really odd FB story. He received a call from a high school friend saying that she was so sorry to hear the sad news. He had no clue what she was talking about and after hemming and hawing a few minutes she finally said, 'I read on FB that Greg had died and I'm so sorry, way to young to die'. His brother. My husband. Obviously he wasn't dead because I was having lunch with him, but it totally freaked me out. BIL explained that we talk almost everyday and I hadn't mentioned Greg kicking the bucket the day before. I called my daughter and had her look
  13. Too, too young. So sorry for your loss.
  14. There's a new bike store in the shopping center behind Dunkin Donut in Hiram and there's Bicycle Jones at the Cross Roads.
  15. I love Bonanza, I watch it every afternoon on MEtv.
  16. I can't get the link to work, it just keeps coming back to Pcom. Are they dangerous? How did they escape?
  17. I HATE all the Geico commercials.
  18. That's exactly the point and I've never been to another range that did that. Not cool with it.
  19. YEA.....kinda my thought too.
  20. It's a little more expensive, but when you consider that we used to drive to Big Woods Goods way up 575, the few extra dollars it costs is still less than driving there. or even to Douglasville to Stoddards or to Smyrna to Adventure Outdoors. I don't like the Adventure Outdoors range at all because they have these huge metal grates that you stand on and everytime you fire it makes the grate reverberate, it's loud and it feels weird underneath your feet. It also prevents you from picking up your brass for reloading.
  21. I had a S&W 642 Airweight, it was hammerless and I HATED it. It ate up my thumb everytime I shot it and I always went home bleeding. Don't invest the money before you shoot one, a revolver is very different from a semi auto. The recoil, the trigger pull, everything, you should check out several before you purchase.
  22. Shoes are a very personal choice, I'd find out which one she wants and go from there. It would be a waste for you to spend a substantial amount of money and she not like them. There are shoes out there that I wouldn't put on my feet regardless of how comfortable they were. Also, does she already have a job? WIll she be working in a dr's office, a hospital, a clinic, etc.? It seems like different working conditions would call for different clothing/shoe choices.
