As many people here in Pcom land, hubby works his behind off to provide for our family and the idea that some low life thinks they have the right to what HE has worked for, makes my head feel like it's going to explode. I hope KARMA really does a number on this thief and all like them.

We have never had to 'make' the decision to a pet down, thank heaven. We had one die in the living room floor of natural causes. If your sweet pet can be kept comfortable, I'd do that and wait and see. But, if you think for a minute that he is suffering and in pain, I think putting them out of misery is for the best. I don't envy you this task and I wish you and your family peace in having to go through this.

My friends mom lost her house when hurricane Ike came through a few years ago, they had to completely rebuild. Well, her new house is now off it's foundation and in the neighbors yard. With the flood insurance she has, unless the house is condemned, she has to build it back in the same place and after 2 huge losses she doesn't want to do that, she actually wants hers to be condemned so she can take the ins. money and build in a place where she won't be flooded out again. Good luck to your Mom, I know this can't be easy.

Yep...remember the model Niki Taylor who almost had her spleen torn in half after an accident in Atlanta? She was walking around, seemingly fine until 20 or 30 minutes after the accident and collapsed on the side of the road. She was in the hospital for months and almost died several times. I think she said she had more than 20 surgeries. Bad!!! Natasha Richardson also comes to mind.

I have been looking forward to the new Jay Leno show ever since he went off the air a few months ago, but the moment I saw who was a guest, I changed it and didn't put it back. I was disappointed on more than one front.

I am soooooo sad, he was truly one of Hollywoods greats. I have a framed photograph of him and my niece in my living room. He was filming a movie in Lithia Springs I think and she waited all day to see him and as he was leaving the set after a very long day, he had his driver stop and he said to her, 'I have seen you here all day long, the least I can do is have my picture made with you'. She said he was the nicest guy ever and the thing she liked most about him was that he was wearing his wedding band. What a loss!

He turned me off when he was on Oprah a while back and said he didn't owe anybody any thanks for what he had because he DESERVED it all. It's one of the only times I have ever seen Oprah speechless. The last nail in the coffin was right after his mom died, he said that his one regret in life is that he would never get to see himself perform live. REALLY??!?!?! Who would say that?
