"The Way We Were" Barbra Streisand Movie Video
dawneykids replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I wish I was as 'untalented' as she is. She sure has been fooling somebody, including me, over the years for all the fortune and fame she has. -
Then maybe the issue is with YOUR dr and not the system. I agree.

OMG!! I was about to type the exact same words. But since you beat me to it, I'll go with..........UUUMMMMM, let's see................NONE YA. None ya bidness!!!
-
But it sounds so much scarier to lay the blame elsewhere and when you have so many people who refuse to think about things logically on their own, those spreading the inaccurate info have hit their mark dead on.
-
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

+100. Why would the camera have been set up pointing directly at them like that?
-
I don't have any problem getting an appointment and I don't sit for hours in any waiting room. I'm chalking this up to fear mongering. When you tell someone over and over and over and over how bad things are, they start to believe it. And of course no one would lie to further their own agenda.

What if you don't want to be the pope?
-
Yes they are. I would be so relieved that my family member was safe but I'm not sure that I could ever forgive them for putting loved ones through that. That may sound too tough, but the worry that happens when you HAVE NO IDEA where your child, mother, husband, sibling , etc., is, it's unbearable.

Hubby worked 18 hr days for 8 days straight trying to restore power. It was a mess.

Congratulations!! With so many kids acting out these days, it's refreshing to hear about a good kid from a good dad!!!!!

30 years and counting. Our Anniversary is today
dawneykids replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Happy Anniversary!!!! 30 years is a long time. Hubby and I have been together for 32 and in May will have been married 29. Sometimes I look back and think it's been an eternity, but most of the time it seems to have just zipped past. And even after all this time, there's no one I'd rather spend my time with than him. -
I learned that 2 spaces is correct, but I read on the internet recently that that rule is no longer relevant and one is acceptable. However, old habits die hard and this old gal still double spaces. Of course, I graduated in 1982 so that could explain a lot.

I'm excited about the new we're buying this weekend, a SpeedQueen woohoo!!! American made, 3 year FULL warranty, a little more expensive but now I get to get rid of the piece of junk HE crap I bought a year ago.
-
And once again.................we agree!!!!!!
-
My question too. What if he doesn't want to come home? Is he in need of help or did he just get caught?
-
Yes. This. EXACTLY. So, if you want to go missing and not be found, you'd better hope that loved ones don't start posting on FB.
-
Agree completely, HOWEVER, when an adult disappears of their own volition, it knocks the credibility of any adult that goes missing afterward. If I disappeared for 4 days I'd either be dead or being held captive somewhere. But the police look at the situation like I ran off because they have seen it so much in the past and that's just not right. If you're an adult and you need a break, you need to tell someone.

WTF?!?! All this teacher got was fired?
-
I agree with that 100%.

I would hope I would want to know, but I'm not sure. I think I would probably have a suspicion because he's always at work or with me. He won't go for a haircut, to the store, to the shooting range, a gun show, auto show or anywhere else without me or 5th grader. So, if he suddenly began disappearing for any amount of time or started keeping his cell phone with him at all times, which he NEVER does, it would make me think something was up. We've been married almost 29 years and been together for 32 and this has never been an issue, THANKFULLY!

I hate that you are having such a problem and while I appreciate a dentist trying to save a tooth, it becomes ridiculous at some point. Just pull the da@n tooth. My daughter has a genetic issue where she has no enamel on her teeth. She had seals put on her teeth starting at 4 years old and her teeth still rotted. It has been a total, VERY EXPENSIVE nightmare. She's had root canals on practically every tooth in her head, caps, crowns etc. She finally found a dentist that agreed that most of her teeth couldn't be saved, pulled 8 and made her a bridge and she had 5 implants. I could go on fo

I love my dentist, but the more I hear about 'deep cleanings' the more I think they border on being a racket. I've heard this same thing from 3 different people, with 3 different dentists in a week. When we started with our practice a few years ago, I 'needed' a deep cleaning too. Luckily, ins covered it all, but I still question whether it was necessary.

There was a HUGE Veterans Day Celebration at Abney in November. They had an assembly, the chorus sang and they made it a point to send home letters more than once to invite and include veterans of all ages.
