I think 15% is fine for a buffet.

If these were the ONLY cookies left ON THE ENTIRE planet, I wouldn't buy them from this bunch of ignorant, low class, boobs. I would go cookieless forever first!
-
Even if they left their own tip, DON'T TOUCH WHAT I LEFT! Get change and go back or add it onto your credit card bill up front. I saw a 'friend' of my mothers do this one time, while leaving no tip at all and I have NEVER forgotten it and it still tears me up..........for those of you who couldn't tell!!

Talk about pitching a fit, that would have been me! I would have been SOOOOO PI$$ED!!!!!!!!! And these people were from your CHURCH??????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! I'm dumbfounded!

I agree 100%, if you can't afford the tip, stay home and eat a sandwich or go somewhere that tip isn't expected. I also tip the same as SPORTS SOURCE, I go up or down from 18-20%. If I'm at Waffle House I tip really well because I figure I'm the one eating there and not having to work there, I can afford an extra $2.00 or so. But I have had service so terrible, I've left a single dollar.

Is America Ready for a "Black Bachlorette"?

They aren't looking for love, they are looking for fame, fortune and a break into show business. The entire concept is ridiculous and after how many of these shows are any of the people still together? Two maybe? -

In the link I posted it said approx $3,300.00 a month. But with the media and bogus reporting, nothing that we have read could be correct.

As I wrote in the other thread, these people don't deserve to be drawing air.

If you're going to ask a 2nd grader an absurd question, you need to make darn sure you don't screw up the way you write it. My granddaughter had a similar question with an obvious mistake in the asking, it was ridiculous. I realize that teachers are people too, but they should be held to a higher standard and at least get the questions right on work they send home. It's a HUGE pet peeve of ours when we get papers sent home from a teacher with incorrect grammar, spelling and punctuation on them. Unfortunately, it happens all too often. My daughter did it in her head and changed the i -
She seems so proud to share this intimate and often odd information about herself. What a manipulator!

She's a narcissistic loon.

Same here. Chemicals or sugar? We chose sugar a long time ago. Anything in moderation. Sugar in itself doesn't make people fat, over indulgence does. And often if people over indulge in one thing, they do the same thing with many things that are bad for you. These same people know that this is bad for them and they do it anyway, that's outside my circle and it's not societies responsibility to see that they change. It's my choice to eat sugar just like it's some peoples choice to over indulge.

Of course the Catholic church is very rich, but nuns and priests take a vow of poverty when they enter service. It's very hypocritical IMO. And the Catholic church does in fact have retirement homes for former priests. He should be held to the same standards as any other retiring person.

What could possibly make a Grandmother, do the unthinkable?

Yep. I will say that before MIL became an addict, my daughters, now 26 and 27, spent all kinds of time with her. They went on weekend trips and loved being with her. But by the time the two younger grandkids came along, she was out of control and at that time, she was taken off all pick up lists. She fought and whined and TRIED to manipulate us, but it never worked. NOPE. Not happening. Unfortunately, I think these parents ignored their gut and hoped that mom was really OK and didn't want to hurt her feeling. I can't even imagine what they are going through. And she left behind a 13 -

I still wonder after all these years, WHO ON EARTH sold the school system on that bunch of tripe? SERIOUSLY? Hubby and I have this theory that many jobs would be slashed if people don't constantly try to prove that their job is valuable, when in fact it may not be. So in turn, these are the kinds of stupid ideas that come from people trying to justify their position. Craziness, I'm tellin' ya'.
