Wow~ thanks for sharing! I'd never heard/seen this movie. I think am going to sit down with my daughter (who does have Tourette's) and watch this. Having this "disease" is a tough road to hoe...bless her heart, people will stare at her, if noticible ticing occurs, as this is definitly a "not understood" "disease".

We used Dr. Hal Scherz with Georgia Urology, for one of my girls (she was born with Hydronephrosis). He was great, and I would recommend him. He has an office in Kennesaw and near Scottish Rite (which is where her testingw was done).

It is nothing to worry about, it is controlable if you do what they say. you will have to see a Perinatologist (I used Dr. Bansal). It's been 5 1/2 yrs for me. I'm still overweight, and my fasting sugar is ALWAYS high, when tested, but, my A1C counts are always "normal". Good luck ~

The schools are hiring subs for the cafiteria (sp?). It takes a little while to get in, you must first go through a "seminar" (dates on website), then fill out an application, and give 3 written references out. Once you are fingerprinted ($40 charge), you are called within a few weeks. Once you work 90 hours, you are eligible for full time. I have already had 3 calls, and am "booked" for 4 weeks.

My daughter is ADHD/ODD, Asperger's and has Tourette's, as well as a history of abnormal EEG's. I seem to think MOST of this stuff all runs together and is a brain system "malfunction".
