  1. Oh, yeah...that's us too. But, I'm not paying so the kids can have that, lol!
  2. Yes, we just ran wires to the varies different TV's....we don't have boxes on them. The wires plug into the TV
  3. google it (i've found google very helpful with stuff like that) or, call Pate's...they are generally VERY FAST at coming out.
  4. I'd LOVE to try it, and fire comcast, but, it's not available in New Hope (my area anyway) yet. To those that have it, can you have it on all TV's in the house wITHOUT paying an additional fee (like the satellite co's charge)?
  5. anymore news on this? I just got home, and the road is still blocked off ~ truck was flipped upside down. I know they are doing TONS of electrical work here
  6. $500 would "get us by", while $1000 would get us "ahead"/
  7. Tina~ you and your family are in my thoughts ((HUG))
  8. I'd take my daughter to see it...she is obsessed with him . I will take her, if tickets are reasonable, and not sold out, otherwise, I will wait for it to come out on video and buy it for her...I'm SURE it'll come out on video...gotta make the profits, ya know.
  9. We go to Pettit Creek Farms in Cartersville
  10. How are her grades? What is her age? Put it in writing that you want testing started. If you really see a problem, and the grades show a problem, then don't take "no" for an answer. It's best to get any LD dx ASAP. Once a dx is made, a plan can be worked on.
  11. what do they not "count" for? Have you had her tested for a LD? There may be an actual reason that she can't read (dyslexia or something of the like). I would approach the teacher and ask why they can't be used, and explain the situation.
  12. the place in Dallas/Hiram that has typing to do from home? I remember seeing information on here, in the past, but, can't find it. I really need to make some money, do something. I can work most anytime, but, need a flexible schedule. I can type good, so, I thought this may be an excellent option. Info? Anyone?
  13. How is one pregnant, then find out their pregnant again? Seriously? Wouldn't the hormone levels already be up? Also, if they are both due in December, then she got pregnant around the "same time"...so, wouldn't it be a twin preganncy?
  14. http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=492
  15. Me too...I'm behind Abney AND, the sun is actually peeking through here, at the moment
  16. Maybe a insurance agent could explain that. I understand they (companies) want to make as much, while spending the least...but, if the storm ruins a roof, they repair it. I just don't understand ETA: I am talking about low risk areas
  17. If you want to take your 4 year old, and show him about "volunteering"...why not allow him to draw some pictures/make some cards and go to the nursing home and visit the patients? I'm sure they would LOVE the art, and the visiting.
  18. Pates was just here, yesterday, and fixed our freezer AND they were here back in July fixing the dryer. They are great (but, I hope I don't have to use them for a LONG while again )
  19. That is AWEFUL! Didn't you say this is a family house (been in your family for a while?) So, what are families in this situation supposed to do? I understand that the gvmt is suppose to be helping with "low interest loans"...but, if you have someone who owes $150k on a house (already down in value) and they have to take out a $150k "low interest loan" to rebuild ~ now they owe $300k on a $100 k house (those are just #'s but, you get the idea). I don't understand why regular home owners doesn't cover this as a "natural disaster" if you don't live in a "flood plain" area. I mean, i
  20. Do you have someone on the way for the kids? Is anyone there with him now? Worse comes to worse, I have a couple car seats you can borrow, if your ride will keep your kids.
  21. Do you need a ride? What hospital is it?
  22. I don't know for sure, but, if the car is in his name, it is technically HIS car, so, I don't think there is legally anything she could do. It is rotten of him to do that, though (especially if he has other transportation)
  23. I just broke my toe (2 weeks ago). I went to the Dr., had the X-ray, blah, blah, blah. It's broke, that's it. They said I could tape the 2 toes together (for support), but, honestly...that hurt worse. I can tell you that I couldn't (and still prefer not too) wear tennis shoes. Tennis shoes makes the pain MUCH worse. I denied prescription pain killers, and just took aleeve for the pain the 2 times I was on my feet all day and couldn't bear it anymore. It is now getting better, but, I still have to watch it (kids stepping on it, bending or hitting it wrong, etc). good luck
