It's been 5 minutes and he is still cutting the grass. No lights on or nothing. Crazy. I wonder if he had a beer or two too many.

I love Judy B's. If we only had more non chain restaurants, I'd be set.

The crazy thing is I suspect most of us will need every bit of Tier I, II, III etc we can get. Everything I'm reading suggests the job shedding will continue well into next year. Then it may take 3-4 years for unemployment for most the unemployed to be re absorbed into the work force. however, most of us will probably end up settling for less than what we were making before and the new avg. unemployment rate will be much higher. Merideth Whitney, a renowned analyst suggested yesterday that unemployment may hit 13% before beginning its decline. The 13% she's alluding to is probably the

Thanks. I've read this. Has anyone started on their Tier I or Tier II yet? I'd like to know if there was a lapse in getting your weekly benefits and anything else I should know as far as differences between the initial claim paeriod and going onto the Tier I, II etc.

My unemployement benefits will be up in two months. Assuming I don't have job by then, I have heard that you can now continue to draw unemployment after the six months? Does anyone have the details on how to file for the extension? Is it the same amt? and how long can you continue to draw? I've heard bits and pieces and read some to two about Tier I, II and III and its confusing.

I had that problem when we were relocating here. I finally found a web site that referred me to a realtor and a got a % of the commission on the house we ultimately ended up buying. I got something like $600 and the realtor was really nice. -

I give the new administration credit for being very frank about the current situation and what the different scenarios would be if services were cut.

I know that the state of California has an indigent program that will cremate and then bury the remains. however the family will not know where the remains are. I bet GA has some program like that.

The Smithsonian. Go see the dinasours and the Hope Diamond. When I went there was a restaurant at the Smithsonian that had a fabulous buffet brunch on Sunday. Very pricey but worth it. If you are flying into ronald Reagan you may be able to take the subway to your hotel if you are staying near the capitol. It will save you some $$.

I'd rather have a Trader Joe's or a Fresh Market. -
I was driving to Kroger and there appeared to be a truck and a car involved. The car's front end was smushed in and the inside of the engine area appreared to be messed up. It must have been an impact at a pretty good rate of speed to cause that kind of damage.

It's worse than smelly Carruth Pkwy!

I noticed that too. Thought it was my son's diaper or someone's septic tank.

We've been making of our restaurant favorites at home. Got a heck of a pizza recipe and buy corn tortillas and cut them up and make our own chips. Recently started making pico de gallo.
