  1. My house. Lasagna, pizza, calzones, chicken marsala, tiramisu, etc., you name it I can probably make it..
  2. At one time it was just an 8 and then they changed it to 88. I had no idea what that 8 meant for a long time. No idea it was a Nascar thing. Oh the things you see in Paulding County. I have a list.
  3. Spaghetti and meatballs. Homeade bread.
  4. The last movie that brought tears to my eyes was Brokeback Mountain. What a tragic love story...
  5. Pot roast w/ carrots and potatoes. Homeade bread and sugar cookies.
  6. We were supposed to go to Ted's tonight with some friends but one of them had the flu. So we had crab cakes, wild rice and corn at the house.
  7. We'll have to try some of these places. We do not like to frequent chains and there are plenty of them around.
  8. We love the Imperial Palace and Mizu is also very good. I saw Jesse's mom at the Food Lion the other day and told her how much we miss Bandido's. We like to go up to Rockmart and eat at the Frontier for a great steak.
  9. I like it. I have always wanted a tatoo of a dragon wrapped around a sword on my ankle.
  10. It isn't at our household and millions of other households. The Goodwill is reporting record sales along with other thrift stores and the recession is over. Yeah, right!!!
  11. Most people I know plan on spending a lot less than in the past year out of neccesity or due to not knowing if they will still have a job next year. Additionally, they will be paying cash for what they do buy. I'm certainly not buying the recession is over and sincerely doubt sales will the same or better this year. I'm waiting to see a who's who of retailers filing bankruptcy come March/April 2010.
  12. An article on Market Watch indicated that a retail trade group expects X-mas season sales to increase by 1% over last years sales. Granted last season's sales were pretty abysmal. We've completed our X-mas shopping for out 2 year old thanks to consignment sales and hitting the toy clearance sales at Target and KMart. We have several members of our family that are on unemployment or in a dire financial situation (as in barely having food in the house) due to a $1000 a month garnishment on an unsecured line of credit (buying stupid stuff). For those folks we'll give them a couple of boxe
  13. Teriyaki chicken Kabobs with pineapple and onions over rice.
  14. Ideally we would like to sell our house and move over towards Forsyth County or up in Calhoun area depending on the job situation. I'm willing to break even but I think that is a tall order these days. Your house is going to have to be priced competively with foreclosures and have some extras to compete with the new houses and those new homes that are in foreclosure. Good Luck!!! Have you considered listing your house on one the home trading sites? We might do that next year since its less than $100.
  15. I had made Italian Wedding Soup for myself and chicken fries for my 2 year old. Well he didn't want the chicken fries and is eating my soup. I guess i'll eat what's left. He's always like soup for some reason.
  16. What does the Chinese Baby chart say you are having? I vote girl.
  17. Why visit the site when you can go to any Walmart starting around 9 pm and see the show in person. My husband absolutely hates the Walmart in Hiram because it has the oddest people vs. the one on 120. I think that site is horrible. It really crosses the line; some people really can't help it that they are 500 pounds. But what's with all the tattoos and pink hair and tights on a guy?
  18. I went when it first opened and thought it was pretty good but kind of pricy. A little better than Moe's. I really liked the salsa bar. However, on subsequent visits the serving size of the nachos seemed smaller. I will really miss their soup though. When we were sick with a cold, we'd go through the drive thru and get some soup. A Five Guys would be awesome!!!
  19. Leftover Zatarains pasta w/ sausage and green beans.
  20. We ate there last week and it was very good. We ordered the calamari, seaweed salad, kung pao shrimp and mongolian beef. The kung pao shrimp was delicious and was prepared the way i like it and was the first time I found it prepared this way in Georgia. It just needed a little more sauce and it would have been perfect. I'll ask for more sauce next time.
