I think the only thing you can do is to talk to your neighbor. Come up with a few scenarios about how the conversation is going to go -- offer different solutions which all point to where you want the solution to go. Offer help where you can and be sympathetic to what may be going on. GOOD LUCK!

I got a call like that in the past ... but when I told them I had recently replaced my roof (and did ) , they were "shocked" and left me alone!! They are trolling for business .....

You could check with Sal's too ... they have "large" items available. I'm not sure their deliver radius but it does cover a big area. PM for contact info.

Hope all will be okay from this wreck. PSA: Lights on during rain/mist. Can't tell you how hard it is to see cars in the greyness .....

staying home, warm jammies, dinner & some wine/beer, no game for me but dh will probably watch after the hockey game is done, and going to bed early for me .... I guess that makes me old btw ... the only thing I miss about younger days and really being a super bowl party attendee was that I usually scheduled the Monday following as a vacation day. Gonna miss that one thing!

Lake Lindsey is open for fishing, but not Lake Jane. Don't know what kind of fish.
