Just wanted to say Thank You to Ginger of Ginger Whiteis Photography! You did an amazing job of putting together the DVD for our son's graduation party. There was not a dry eye in the house - not even our 18 year old son cold keep it dry! Thank you for your amazing work and professionalism! We will definitely be working with you again really soon!

I think that you are completely missing the point that mental illness is just that....an illness. It is no different than a cold, the flu, diabetes etc. While Speaker Richardson is not my favorite politician (well, who is right now?), I completely understasnd that he has been diagnosed with severe depression (an ILLNESS)which caused him to attempt to take his life. I cannot imagine for the life of my why anyone would think that a person's illness would not "reflect well on Paulding county." We all have our own health issues I'm sure. IF anything, I think that Speaker Richardson's decision

I was at the game last night and it was my birthday!!! The awesome time we had and the VICTORY were the best birthday present I could have asked for! I want to thank a special man for bringing those Hornets into my life a little over 6 years ago. The ups and downs have been so much fun! And to my "4th" son, I love you and am so proud of the hard work and dedication you put into your job coaching the Hornets!

We did a combination gift - 15th wedding anniversary, his birthday (September), my birthday (coming up in November) and Christmas - and we're going on a cruise right after Christmas! Whoohoo! I can't wait to get the devil out of town.

Mucinex (both the red and green) work great for me. I also like Delsym (sp?) for cough. -
I think that her point is that all insurance companies are denying the claim when the Tamiflu has to be compounded. Her point is that this is not a good thing at a time when there has been a Pandemic declared. I'm not one to run off to the news at the drop of a hat either but there is not a ton of time to let the wheels of the "chain of command" as you put it - churn. There are families who have been hit terribly hard by the economic crisis we're facing and they certainly cannot afford to drop the $150-200 it costs to compound Tamiflu. Of course, they're doing it because they don't want th

interesting. I got the seasonal flu shot two weeks ago and have come into contact with numerous people with swine flu. So far....no H1N1 for me.

It took three hours for me to get from my house in Dallas to the airport area where I work. I'm not loving this at all!

11alive's website just said that the dam was breached with water heading towards 92. Residents downstream are being evacuated now. Does anyone else feel like we're living in the freaking Twilight Zone?

Thank you all! I'm sending him to his dad's for the next few days. He lives off of Irwin Road. I'll have to make sure my boy uses a road other than Old Villa Rica because I bet the creek has risen over that just before you get to West Sandtown too!

My son is getting out of school over at Hillgrove in about 15 minutes. He is suppposed to be at my house on M,T,W nights and every other weekend. I"m not sure about letting him drive all the way from school home. I'm thinking he may better stay at his dad's which is about 5 miles from Hillgrove. He usually takes Luther Ward to Lost Mountain Road. Then Lost Mountain to Dallas Highway. Dallas Highway to Bill Carruth and Bill Carruth to Hiram Sudie. We live in Mill Pointe Subdivision off of S. Davis MIll Rd. Have you guys heard of anything bad on these roads? I haven't read anything on he

LAKE SWAN BREACHING DAM IN CARRINGTON POINT
Mrs. Avalon replied to yardmower's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm so worried about Carrington Pointe. My oldest son has a really good friend that lives there and his home backs up to the lake. I shot my son a text but he was on his way into school - and none too happy about having to go in this weather! -
I think that we as Paulding County citizens need to band together and phone in every single traffic infraction against a bus that we see. If it's someone running the bus stop signs - we call it in. If it's someone driving completely around a stopped bus, we call it in etc. Those buses are transporting the precious children of this county. The bus drivers are doing every single thing they can to ensure the safety and security of our children. The least we can do is assist them in reporting unsafe drivers who refuse to obey the laws of the road and respect the safety of our children.

The flu is everywhere as well as numerous other illnesses etc. The best thing to do is to follow precautions and good hygiene and try hard not to panic. I work in the medical field and have been around people with H1N1 the last several weeks and, knock on wood, I'm still rocking and rolling along. Keep reiterating to your children to make sure to wash their hands, not to touch their fingers to their eyes, noses or mouths, etc. It's pretty common sense stuff.

I work there every day. I promise, it's safe to drive down - especially if you just take 278 all the way down.

Sometimes humor is lost on people. Life is way to serious these days and I personally appreciate any attempt at humor.
