Feeling' lucky over here ...hoping that stays that way, overnight, and beyond.

Not exactly. They really did blow through a stop sign in front of my car, after I had started moving. The only fiction is the part where they were trapped under a car. I'm hoping that part remains fictional. Maybe their parents or someone who knows them will see this.

Hope that gets someone's attention. It didn't happen, but it could have. (Mods: Yeah, yeah... I know. Change the topic if it's too much.) ~6:30PM, Tuesday 04/12/2011 I: Stopped at the stop sign on Hughes. Noticed large dirtbike and two smaller ones on Garmon, approaching their sign. I: Started pulling away, then quickly had to slam on my brakes, as I realized that the large dirtbike did not intend to stop. Large dirtbike: The kid looks at me, then continues through the stop without even slowing down. Smaller dirtbikes: Followed right behind their 'leader,' without even a

I want to know what your eating tonight.....

For us, 'redneck garlic bread' doesn't have to be regular loaf bread, even. If we have extra hamburger or hotdog buns we won't be using, they're fair game, too Dinner? Day old homemade lasagna leftovers. MMMmmmm. And 'regular' garlic bread, this time. Tasty stuff, this: -
Hey, don't knock the lifeline. I don't drink it often... I go through about one 750ml bottle a year... but there's always, always one in the freezer, just in case Beef rocks, too, of course!

Yeah, you have to wait for several seconds sometimes. The gist of it was: Hi, this is a phone call to let you know that you may be getting another phone call!

For some reason, this thread makes me want to put up a Christmas tree.

Going to pretend I didn't read any of this, for now... and reserve judgement until after my two upcoming flights are over. Have flown Delta, with no issue whatsoever... but that was many moons ago. We'll see.

Nah, it's a Yamaha Road Star. Big ole' V-twin, though. I just love that sound. It's a sweet ride. But yeah, I know, I know... it's not American. My 'hobby fund' just wasn't big enough for that, without downsizing a lot. The Triumphs are sweet, too... no doubt. Seen some nice ones Good luck on getting the vintage one roadworthy again soon!

...or you have a bad leak somewhere? I've had that one happen to me before, when we used propane... but never either of the other two. That's not to say neither is possible, but I generally try and rule out the least nefarious and/or most logical answer first.

Spin off from "Christina Aquilera, Super Bowl Performance"
C_Watkins replied to BubbaDoo's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, I really like that one. No 'autotune effect,' great voice, attractive singer, and a fitting video. (Especially the ending) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8v_4O44sfjM -

There's still hope out there! Here's just a couple of YouTube'ers hopefully on the rise: Tyler Ward and Julia Sheer (And just about any of Tyler Ward's "friends" for that matter) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcAm3T431Pk Maddi Jane. I think she's 12, so still a ways to go... but looking like a strong start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT9PQgMtkDo -

That's sort of irrelevant, though, to a discussion like this. It's not the first time I've heard her completely jack up a live performance with her 'style.' It's a valid complaint, I think. Studio setting, or live and not trying for 'over the top?' Yeah, C.A,'s fantastic! Heck, I'm the first to admit that I have a voice that Autotune/Melodyne/V-vocal/insert-your-favorite-pitch-correcting-software-here can't even help (I mean sure, they can get me on key... but ugh. There's just no point! There's a lot more to good pipes than just being on pitch) Doesn't mean I can't cringe, make -
SUPERBOWL XLV ** ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Same! That's the only reason I watch I really couldn't care less who wins the game. -
I got into it with Vapor Kings from Vapor4life (there is another 'Vapor King" out now that is different. I think I went in for about $200 worth, I have a couple recharging cases, and various automatic and manual batteries and chargers. These are based off the Kr-808 series, using self contained cartomizers. I ordered many varieties of carts, and eventually settled on a Dr. Pepper flavored one, and a Red Bull flavored one, as my favorites. I think I used them for about 6 weeks without any smokes, then when my next 'refills' were off in flavor, I became disenchanted. (This was replacement

Or not. We had a 1997 Lumina that I tried to kill. Well, I didn't necessarily try, I guess... but I sure didn't care if it lived or died. I think we paid $1500 for it, with 140,000 miles on the clock, but I always hated the car because it was green. I changed the oil twice... maybe three times, on its way to 247,000 when somone ran a red light and destroyed it for me. It was still running strong as ever, up to that point. The GM 3.1l engine is hard to kill, if you never let it overheat. (Same with their 3.8l) Honestly though... it's not like it was back in the '70's or '80's, where

I think you should pray for them http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atBg9zLI2bA But yeah, like others have said, "Time." Don't let it consume you. It sucks, but you will get through it.

Personally, I hope they don't change it, but it sounds like they may have to up the beef, or call it something else, ultimately. They can probably just start calling it 'beef flavored' and be just fine. Wouldn't affect my eating habits at all.
-
As long as they continue tasting like they do... I'll continue eatin' 'em. They're quick, tasty, convenient and cheap. Some of the 'cheap mexican' places I frequent probably have more actual beef in their filling... but I honestly prefer the Taco Bell version, and usually get something other than tacos, at those other places. If I want better ground beef in my tacos, I'll just wait until Friday night, since that's "homemade taco night" at our place

Just be glad I haven't found the capital to market my amazing fried chicken skins idea yet Why bother with the meat. It's the skins that are so doggone tasty! Ever wonder where the skin goes, when you buy boneless skinless chicken breasts in the store? I do. If only there were a way to fry those up, salt em, bag em, and get them into vending machines. Muahahahaha...

Unless there's another one active right now, I'm sure he meant @ Ridge road, where it's Baker's Bridge one way, and Dallas Nebo the other way. Some white, later-model SUV, Tahoe-sized... though I didn't catch the emblem so it could've been Explorer or other. Driver's side fender was smashed up pretty good, from the headlight to the door, it looked like. There was some sort of antique truck, looked like a shallow dump-bed of sorts. (Or just an older flat bed truck with low rails around the bed) There may have been another car or two involved, but those were the two I noticed had damag
