KMA or FOAD. Those are my usual responses to such BS, followed by a block on their phone number if it showed up. Between privacy director and direct blocks, we have to field very few calls of this sort.

I still haven't forgotten how to twist wrenches, weld, cut, do in-depth computer/electronic diagnostics, etc... Managed a shop for a few years, but I've also done everything from A/C, to alignments, to full engine and trans rebuilds. I don't want to have to travel that road again, but I certainly could, if the corporate gig ever falls through.

Sorry I know this has been asked a 1,000 times but

Yeah, you have to reach out a bit for the temp agencies around here... but no further than you'll end up driving for work, to be honest. Also, depending on what you do, polish up the resume and hit up monster.com, careerbuilder.com atlantajobs.com, etc... Heck, I haven't had an active resume on any of those sites in almost four years, and I am still getting calls and weekly job opps in the mail. -
Same. Done and done. This one didn't upset me a bit. Ten years ago, we had a ridiculous number of questions, including a large number where the answers were, frankly, none of anyone's business.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but don't forget to checkout the temp agencies, if it's not something in fast food, or at a local department, grocery, convenience store, etc... Jobs are definitely out there. More and more businesses are using staffing services these days, even for 'permanent' hires. In some cases, it's the only way possible to even get your foot in the door. -
I would like to see the code, personally. I find it hard to believe any government body would single out 'church services' directly like that. No way I could see that sort of code holding water in any real court. Wonder how that town's officials react to birthday parties, weddings, wakes, superbowl parties, baby showers, etc... (All of which come with the same set of 'issues' that the town seems to have here)

And is all that I can recall the blurb in the constitution mentioning. To enumerate. Oh... and Grrr. I reported the Pubster, but this is still here in the open forums, sucking me in. Argh.

Ziplocks. We keep several sizes, and use them for lots of things.

How to cook rutabagas, just the plain old fashioned way?
C_Watkins replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I see you like your rutabagas the same way I like my collard greens and steamed cabbage. -
Which store do you think is cheaper for grocery shopping?
C_Watkins replied to koshiacrowe's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is our experience as well, and most of what we get comes from Publix, with 'some' things like cereal, cookies and such coming from Target. -

I had to double check to make sure these guys weren't from Paulding county. I would've sworn this was my neighbor's old Ford tractor, and not that old Volvo Keeps better time than some other drummers I've seen, though

Just saw the broken link and wanted to point out the new one. https://paulding.pay...intro/paulding/ Just click 'Yes, I do accept' at the bottom, and search like you always did. You have to follow the links as though you want to pay property taxes online, to get to the 'search' page now.

Yeah, once I'm in the mood... I'm definitely an equal opportunity offender

No, I think it's incredibly stupid of the TV station as well. All it takes though, is to see one of these on the ground, which is where the majority will end up. And it wasn't that much of a 'slam' to be honest. More of a, "D'oh!" kind of thing, knowing what may result But no, I've never appreciated the 'opportunity for crime exists here' approach. We used to have them do that at our shop. Two weeks after every shop on the street had at least one window busted out of every customer's vehicle on site. Yes, we started leaving the cars unlocked, after paying for 15 car windows.

Just saw this on the news. They look just like 'real' parking tickets, until you flip them over. They are being placed on cars where valuables can be seen through the car window, supposedly to knock some sense into you with their 'Could have been stolen' warnings. It's the night before Christmas. Say you're a thief. Are you thanking Atlanta PD for marking all your targets for you... or what? /facepalm Yes, people need to be less careless. I'm sure the police force's heart is in the right place, but still.

I just made a really stupid mistake.........

You say you have a $10.00 transaction waiting to post, so they can't close the account. 1) Open a new account 2) Transfer everything except the 10.00. 3) Breathe again 4) Close the original account after the 10.00 clears -
Nothing special, but we used to make 'hobo's'. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Form the beef into individual patties or balls. Set each in the middle of a decent-sized piece of aluminum foil. (Big enough to hold some fixin's) From there, just about anything you can think of can be added. We used to do them with yeah, you guessed it, Cream of Mushroom soup, and a few taters and carrots If you go with veggies only, toss a big pat of butter in there, or something. Jazz up the beef before making patties if you want. The dehydrated onion soup mix is good, flavored bread crum

Not a food... but what thread about anything fake and orange would be complete without a mention of QT? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFSvDlEF55I (Granted, that commercial is older than my own personal memory of the product... but still)

[ media ] http : // fullurltoyoutubevidhere [ / media ] Without all the spaces: EDITED to add: It helps if you pick one where embedding isn't disabled. I did that, on the first attempt -
The way I PM'd you earlier is indeed the way. I just copied the URL wrong, apparently. For instance, the one you were trying to post, the correct URL is Just wrap it in "media" tags: [/color]
