  1. Melt Grandmothers Heart!!! Kids design their own Valentine's Day Cards. Your child would love to color and design their very own Valentine's Day Card to send out. Well, here is their chance to merge their artistic skills and design their own unique card. They love the world and want to share their creations with all those who are close to them. What better way to share their love than to design and color their own card. We provide everything for this exciting hands on photo session---except the child---that is where you come in. Photos will be taken on our white backgr
  2. Thanks for your comment. I hope more people call me for this. I see where you are to have back surgery. My prayers are with you as you go through this and I hope it goes very smoothly. Keep us informed.
  3. So no one was able to take me up on my, today only, 5 extra Valentine's Day cards------$5 bucks. Sorry. I have a prior engagement at the Marietta Studio on Thursday so I will not be in the Dallas Studio on the 28th. Several have picked a time on Friday and Saturday and they are excited to have their children draw their own cards and have the child's photo on the card ready for placing in a small frame for grandmother's desk. Call for appointment. 770-443-7355 or 678-770-COLE Have a great Thursday.

  9. As I told folks on our last anniversary ----- and I am sure you feel the same way. This is just our first 37th anniversary of together forever. Congratulations
  10. If you had come into the photo lab next to Godfather's we might have met then. I was working there when the snow started. I was ready to be there all night to be open for the ATT people who slid down the hill into the folks from IBM who couldn't get up the hill. Godfather's took in people as we did to give them a warm place and a phone. Many ended up sleeping on the floor - at least we had a dry and warm place. The fellow I worked with lived in Dekalb County and was not going home. About 8:30 I got into my AMC Pacer (which I still have) and got a running start in the parking lot and made
  11. I have been cutting wood for several weeks and I use a fireplace quite a bit. I had 2 fireplaces going today as my wife was hosting a Twelfth Night Party for a Shakespeare class which has been meeting for over 75 years. For many of those years the Epiphany - Twelfth Night Party has been held at my grandmother's, then mother's and now my home and the fires have always been going. It does take a lot of wood to keep the fires going for the day. Cut - split - cut - split again and again.
  12. Prayers are offered up for this family that Christ give them the peace of knowing where this child is now.
  13. I don't know why I was given one but I thank you.
  14. Such a sad time of year to be ill. Prayers for quick recovery of mom and a lessening of fears by the family.
  15. For those of you who enjoy the Christmas Season under a Church calendar, Happy First Day of Christmas. For those who are tired of Christmas and can't wait to clear out your trees and decorations, I am sorry your enjoyment of such a glorious season is so closely tied to the commercial selling calendar and is this day ready for expunging. May the celebration of the birth of the Christ Child continue with you every day. For without this event, the birth, life, death, and resurrection of of Christ would not have happened as told by the Prophets.
  16. The 6th of January. ----- The beginning of the Epiphany Season.. ----- Twelfth Night.--- THE 12rh DAY OF CHRISTMAS. By the way------- HAPPY 1st DAY OF CHRISTMAS ---- TODAY---DEC 26
  17. Sorry to see you fold your business. I hope it takes another form and you can sell your great items again. I have enjoyed knowing and capturing the best images of both of you over the last few years. ........ ........ I too am planning on closing my shop in Dallas. Right now I am planning for someone to take over the portrait studio but I am bringing my business back home to Marietta. Blessings to you and Steve as you close another chapter of your life and begin another. Nicholas Cole - Photographer
  18. I am sure Christmas was going well until this happened. My prayers are for a quick recovery for him and peace of mind to all those who were involved.
  19. Love the story of the tape. Save tape and post one of your nipping bitches at the base of the tree. I would love to see you dress your cat as you do your poor dogs. Pubby could have a great YouTube video if you would attempt to put some cute hats and coats on your cat. Watching you "dress" the dogs last year was enough to make up for the nip I got. If you think LPPT is funny normally, you should watch and hear her as she "dresses and talks to the animals". Merry Christmas to all. Nicholas Cole - Photographer
  20. I can't fix but I can pass you on to the best I know of. My wife has been using them over 35 years. Ashby Sewing started years ago near Underground Atlanta on Ashby Street. They are in a new building half way between COWBOYS and the runway at McColum airport on "old 41". That's on the west side of the road that runs from Hooters and Cowboys to downtown Kennesaw. For those who are lost, we are talking about the road 2 traffic lights north of Barrett Parkway and US 41.
  21. I am happy someone else is offering this. The one the merchants association was putting on last weekend on the square in Dallas was rained out. I hope you get a GREAT response.
  22. Prayers for a peaceful release for all the family and friends.
  23. I'm sorry to say we won't be having the Live Nativity on the square this year. We would need to go before the city council and ask for use of the square to hold such a large event and they do not meet again until after the first Monday in January. I think the carriage man has a gig next week anyway. Sure we might be able to pull something of but we need to get back to our businesses and run them. It takes a lot of time to plan and put on an event like this. I am beginning to have the view that if the city of Dallas wanted something like this to do well they would take more of a lead
  24. I think I remember - at one time the most powerful man in the world got away with the exact same conduct in the most important office in the world on the seal of the most powerful nation in the world. Thanks Bill for making the act a house hold term every evening during the dinner time news. Just a question ----- Was one of the students wearing a blue dress?
