CANCELED -- CANCELED -- CANCELED
nicholascolephotographer replied to nicholascolephotographer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I was on my roof repairing damage from the last RAIN AND WIND storm when Tina called me to post the cancellation for tonight. We were not bothered by the cold but the threat of rain made us give early notice to Charles Shaffer the carriage owner and to those who were bringing the animals. WE did not want to have everything in place and the rain start at 6:30 or 7. We will post when we know if and when we will reschedule this great event. Thanks again to those who were to help us and to those who planned to attend. -
Due to the rain moving in we have canceled the Live Nativity tonight on the square in Dallas. We have NO plan B right now. We will post further details when we have them. Thanks to all those who made plans to join us. Merry Christmas. The Downtown Dallas Merchants Association Everyone who reads this Please bump this as much as you can to keep it on the front page this afternoon. Thanks

I developed the Phipps Santa film every night for nearly 8 years - 1984 through 2002. That is when we were using film. Anyone remember that material, film? I am doing Santa pictures during the Live Nativity Saturday night 12-12. $5 donation and the images will be uploaded to my web site for your download and use. Wear your jackets, I hear it is to be cold. -

Santa and I, the photographer, will be at the Live Nativity Saturday evening on the old Courthouse Square. We are asking for a $5.00 donation and your image will be posted on my web site to copy as you wish. -
Thanks Mill Creek Web Design for posting what is going on. We really are expecting a lot of people. I know the children will enjoy the animals and they can pet them too. There is a small charge for the carriage ride--I don't know how much. Santa photos are a $5 donation and photos will be up on my web site for you to print as you will. Have a GREAT DAY.

Last year, if you remember, I posted a thanks for the public's support of the Live Nativity but said Tina Howell and I had done our last event of that type. We didn't care if we did not get any credit for the event we believed in so much however many credited the city of Dallas or several of the local big churches for putting it on. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I wish to thank Layla and Wade for their talents over the last 3 to 4 years with the Live Nativity. They were always happy and eager to be a part of our celebration of the birth of the Christ Child. The city of D

And I think I have problems. I believe God uses people like this boy, and people like you to post this story, to reach deeper into the hearts of people like me. May we all enjoy this Advent Season as we prepare for the celebration of Christ's birth and the 12 days of the Christmas Season to follow.

If you are looking for a few minutes of peace during the day, click on Subby's myspace page above and hear him play. -
Every so often after I finish my daily devotion on line, I click on Subby's myspace page for some gentle GREAT piano playing. I could use a couple hours of his music in the background for computer work but I will take his few minutes of demo clips. Hard to believe, the guy who keeps my lawn mower going is the same guy that "tinkles on the ivory's" so beautifully. I know he plays some KICK A$$ rocking tunes but that is for later in the day. Thanks Subby for such a nice start to a rainy, cold, not so pretty day. P.S. Do you have any Christmas CD's left from last year.
