The American Wheelchair Bowlers Association along with members of the Paralyzed Veterans Association will be back at the Paulding Bowling Lanes July 23, 24, 25, 2010. Mark your calendars now for this great event. If Harold Bowman comes to your business to ask for funds to help, remember, he has put this event together for the last 6 years and hosted the National tournament last year here in Dallas. Give him your ear and a contribution to help bring bowlers from all over the USA to stay 3 days in Paulding County and have some great fun. We'll continue to post info on this event

No wonder I haven't made it in Dallas. You are driving to Marietta, my neighborhood, to do your shopping. Need old photos restored or portraits of your special needs family member, call me in Marietta. 678-770-COLE (2653)

I heard of a family that flew in just to ride their bikes on the Silver Comet Trail, spend some money in Dallas and other stops along the way.

Spring fling on the Square
nicholascolephotographer replied to HOLLIESULLINS's topic in Business NEWS
This needs to be bumped several times a day every day. I understand the "City of Dallas" is taking a "hands off" approach to most events slated for downtown. Don't get me started. This needs to be added to the calendar on the Dallas web site and the Chamber's site. I hope this will go well. -
We have closed our store... a restructure
nicholascolephotographer replied to auntneet's topic in Business NEWS
I'm sorry to hear of you having to close and regroup. I too am severely restricting my efforts in Dallas. Larry Nix is returning to Main Street to take photographs again. I will be still doing the work to copy and restore old photographs. I also hear another business on Main Street in Dallas is to be closed as of today, I need to know for sure before I put it in print. With the "no help" from Dallas City Hall to bring people to Downtown Dallas, it's a wonder more shops don't go out. Don't get me started now that the city put out tables and chairs after not standing up and help -

If you are going to the theater tonight to see the GREAT PERFORMANCE of “Steele Magnolias”, plan to find parking at a premium. The first car show of the season is tonight also and you will have to walk from a couple of blocks away. Parking is available at Region's Bank and the Wynn Building north of the Old Court House Square. Also on South Johnson St. 1 block west of Main Street. THE POLICE USUALLY HAVE MAIN STREET CLOSED FOR THE CAR SHOW---they should direct you to parking if you ask. Enjoy the walk between the old cars and then the show. PLAN A FEW MINUTES EXTRA FOR

Question for those in the know about the law...
nicholascolephotographer replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Subby, After hitting a couple odd keys which erased my post in progress, I have edited it. It is post #17 now buried in the middle of your thread. It's a long post but I hope the end is near and I can get my inspection and tag today. Almost 3 weeks of watching my rear view mirror is getting old. -
Question for those in the know about the law...

I am off the get my 3rd inspection and tag this AM. I am finishing the 3rd week of “driving with an expired tag”. Short version: Last fall I have a leaking radiator and no funds to fix. Paid taxes on vehicle but not tag. (no penalties for late tag purchase but there is for late taxes). Car out of service for last 6 months. Battery taken out to use in another vehicle. This month I find new radiator on line for $85 and I am happy----I replace radiator. Drive to test station-----FAIL--- As stated on receipt from clean air machine----On board computer does not have -
Great Show. I know you will enjoy it. Check here for much more information.
