Beat the rain and the confusion of getting ready tomorrow evening. Come by today for your best costume photo ever.

Groups are OK for the same price. I can't gouge people for extra kids. My daughter would be $32 to get in the door. Come on down. I' be in starting at 2 in Dallas today. I will be doing this by myself today so I hope I don't have anyone waiting in a long line. We will be quick and still get the best image of your children.

Packages start at $8 with our most popular at $20 for 3 sheets Come on down. I hope the line isn't too long. SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN WELCOMED! Old photos restored here.

nicholascolephotographer replied to SMOKE20's topic in RECENT TOPICS
All Hallows Eve is always on October 31. The same as Reformation Day for the church. All saints day is always November 1. Rain or shine. -
Congrats Karen. This is a great way to keep in touch with others.

Good morning all. Time to get up and practice your smile. Someone you meet today might benefit greatly from your best smile.

"Fabulous" historic theater downtown
nicholascolephotographer replied to nowens98's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Unlike the Dallas theater, the Fox was designed for both stage and movies and you can see everything on the stage floor. I saw STOMP several years ago and the sight line was great from the balcony. Can't help you if some big tall fat lady with a big hat takes a seat in front of you. I have been from second row center downstairs to high up in the balcony and it is almost a better view from up above. Enjoy the show. If you are under the balcony on the main floor, you can't see the moving clouds and stars on the ceiling during the show. -
When I go to the commerce members listing I don't see all the page. It is covered over by ads and news content. and won't come forward to a top layer so I can read all the classifications and names I am looking for. Not a rant, just a question. I hope others do not have the same problem. Have a great sunny day all.

Hugh Melville Crumpton, Jr
nicholascolephotographer replied to mom2dachs's topic in May they rest in Peace
Karen, Wade and family. As an only child I can't equate to the loss of a brother although I lost a close room mate from my boarding school days and that was tough. My prayers are for safe travel and for the peace of God to be with you. -
Looking to see if there is someone who can do some tree work for me. Need estimates from several companies. PM me if you wish. A couple pieces are high and over the home.

Too bad for the Dallas City Cemetery

At McIntosh High School last night my family stood on the 50 yard line and introduced as descendants of Chief William McIntosh for whom the school is named. It did rain but when we were being recognized under the lights in a stadium, who cared. Everyone at the school was very nice to us-----when their band comes to Hiram tonight for band competition I know Hiram HS will show them their best too -- except 1st place. Have a great day. -
As Herman Cain might say.

I think Herman would be happy to know that we acknowledge many black citizens from the past who did great things in their lives and several are included in this tour. -

I will post again but for now I am headed for Peachtree City to take place in a dedication at McIntosh High School which named for an ancestor. Doing history is lots of fun. See you tomorrow in the cemetery. -

Food for thought. Most of the guides and those playing the parts are from Cobb Landmarks or WORK FOR THE CITY. -

Too bad for the Dallas City Cemetery
nicholascolephotographer replied to nicholascolephotographer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The current president of the History Society is on the cemetery commission and asked that the History Society do this-----others said NO. I asked Boyd Austin several years ago about a skate park within the city for children to have something to do. His words to me. "H-!! no, not on my watch."---------"Don't want the legal problems with injuries." I guess it's OK for the city to bring legal action and run off one of downtown's best businesses. Just thinking out loud. Have a great weekend. -
While serving as an electricians mate on the USS Oriskany in the gulf of Tonkin we lost a screw. The prop fell off somehow. As we were on the way to be fixed we had to catch a plane which had only one chance to land. We got all the speed we could into a headwind. Just about shook the ship apart. 3 screws to use and designed for 4 was a lot to ask from a 30 year old ship. Talk about vibration. I spent the next few days replacing light bulbs from bow to stern. We did catch the bird which kept us form a rescue in the water. This is great news. Now we might be able to get some of the
