  1. That is a pretty old song. Thank you Postman, you are very sweet.
  2. I like these old songs you are posting, Postman. It is nice to hear them again. some of these I haven't hear or thought about in years. It takes me back in time.
  3. Thanks for posting Gipper girl. I just learned a lot about the different forms of love from this OOga Chaka thread. I actually wasn't expecting to come in here and learn all this. Here is a song that I think of, when I think of love. Remember this one? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zf5UfOuvQHQ
  4. Gippergirl, I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this right now. I say just sit back and R...E...L...A...X. Don't worry about anything right now, there will be plenty of time for that later. Get yourself a good book, a yummy snack, and put on some relaxing music and rest. Enjoy this time. Here is some soothing music that I found for you to get you started. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CR3dM-GlZK8
  5. This is one of my favorites, although I have many more. This is just one of those movies that I think is funny and I never get tired of watching. Plus, I loved the music in this movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEQxcIlMgXk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFTvHz1VV8s
  6. I was wondering the same thing. My thoughts were about the kids in the car! Could she have been having some kind of seizure or some other medical condition, or something? It sounds like, to me, the things she was talking about were not really making sense.
  7. I have heard of and seen the horror stories that involved Craigslist, but I have bought and sold on there for years, and, so far, I have met a lot of nice people, and had mostly great experiences. I guess it is all the "bad" things that make it in the news. You never hear of the hundreds and thousands of "good" things that have come from craigslist. I am glad you posted this, it does show that there are still really great people out there!
  8. Thanks for bumping this thread up Butterfly. This is the first time I have seen this thread. Since it is long, I will have to bookmark it, and go back and read through it when I have more time. This is one reason that I wish Pcom had a special place they could put these old medical/wellness/health threads. That way if I were looking for info on a particular health condition, it would be a lot easier to sift through.
  9. How about methane gas? This is another option. I don't think it would take thousands of years to reap the benefits. It looks like the factory below, in this video, is reaping the benefits right now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkK7tyq9zX4
  10. I am thinking that I have read somewhere that we have an abundance of natural gas, that could fuel electricity.
  11. Unless I am misunderstanding what I am reading, the link I posted says this car is 100% electric and gets 112 MPGe. Here is the link to the MPGe info: http://i.mitsubishicars.com/miev/technology It seems to me a car like this might actually be just what you need. And, wouldn't this go a long way in lessening our need for foreign oil?
  12. Have you guys seen this cute little car? I was quit surprised at the price, I was expecting these electric cars to be much more expensive. http://i.mitsubishicars.com/?cid=PS_100611_GoogleiMiev_201110&gclid=CKm0-Pr6ra4CFYRl7AoduA5VVg&networkType=search&cid=9198700037&prof=225&kwid=225x2186&camp=11646&affcode=kw2186&url[]=http%3A%2F%2Fclickserve.dartsearch.net%2Flink%2Fcl
  13. Maybe the time has finally come, that we all need to consider turning over a new leaf. http://www.nissanusa.com/leaf-electric-car/index#/leaf-electric-car/index
  14. Just listened to this song this morning, while doing some dishes, and it had me in tears. Then got on Pcom, saw this thread and so now I guess I will post it. I don't know why this song has this effect on me, but maybe it is what was in the article you posted here zoo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWhF_pgE_CU
  15. I have been reading that the kind of Apple Cider Vinegar that you will want to buy is the one that contains "the Mother". This will be the vinegar in the organic dept., and will be somewhat cloudy. It is the vinegar that is unprocessed. The reason you want "The Mother", is because those are the natural enzymes that are left behind when the vinegar goes through a distillation process, and those are what you really want. Most people buy with their eyes, and distilled vinegar's "look" pretty, but have lost those valuable enzymes.
  16. No, I haven't tried them, I just found this on this site this morning. http://www.earthclinic.com/CURES/arthritis.html In fact, I still have the site open, as I haven't even finished reading it, myself. I am having some back pain, and may have some arthritis. I am looking for answers myself. Maybe we could all keep a thread about this open and share ideas and what works and what doesn't. You know I think it would be a good idea if Pcom would start some kind of medical/Health/Wellness cafe or something where we could all go and post health topics.
  17. Maybe not. I just read this this morning. I think I may be getting some arthritic pain, and this sounds very promising to me. Go down and read what I posted. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/284273-dog-home-teeth-cleaning-products/
  18. Beautiful song. One of my favorites also.
  19. What a great idea and a beautiful song. How comforting, and soothing to a child. I may have to sing this song to my grandson. I love it! http://utopiamusicdirect.com/samples/JOHNMICHAELDEMO.m4a
  20. The local farmers markets came to mind, at least come spring time, anyway. And I love your screen name.
