What difference is it really going to make what kind of fuel we burn, or what kind of engine we have to burn it in? And, who needs eggs, and chickens, anyway? All we need is our cars! If we just keep trying to squeeze more and more cars onto our, already overcrowded, congested roadways, nobody is going to be going anywhere very fast. We are all just going to be sitting in traffic burning up whatever fuel we have in them. This seems to me to be a huge and widespread problem! I am wondering what are the banks and credit card companies doing to put a stop to this?!? Obviously, whatever they are doing now isn't effective enough to work very well, or we wouldn't keep hearing about more cases of this. How often do they "catch" these criminals? What happens to them when they do? I am thinking that they must not catch them often enough, or punish them severe enough, to deter these crooks from doing this.

I think that just the name pink "slime", really freaked people out.

Put out some tv, radio, internet ads and commercials and give a link to a website telling their side, maybe? If I had seen something about it, I would have looked at it. I was skeptical of the story anyway.

Why didn't these industries that were being negatively affected fight back? Why didn't we ever hear the "other" side of this story? You would think they would have come out fighting back and making some of the points that people are making in this thread, like how it has made the meat much safer, kept children from getting e-coli etc. I think that their silence made it look like they were guilty, and were caught, selling something inferior to the public.

I love talented people! People who can take nothing and make something out of it. I believe we have a lot of talented people in this country. I personally think there are just too many cars on the road, and I would like to see some kind of public transportation system. I am so sorry to read this about your son. I did a search for, my buddy dolls, on e-bay and here is what seems to be currently on there: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=my+buddy+doll However, maybe someone local will have one that will be faster and easier to get. You know, I remember these dolls being advertised on tv and I remember thinking, what a good idea and a great toy for a little boy to have, since this wasn't a "doll" it was a "buddy".
