  1. Maybe you could call the courthouse and ask? I would think someone there could at least point you in the right direction.
  2. I loved Ross Perot, and I voted for him! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xT8jS3Y1aQ
  3. I agree with you Surepip. I just know that they will not be getting any of my money. I am sure that whatever they sell, we can just go next door to K-Mart or across the street at Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Sam's etc and get the same thing, a lot cheaper. I don't see them making it. WOW, I think this is really a stupid move by this landlord.
  4. Bigger in NOT always better! I hate going to the big box, superstores. While, I guess they do have their place and it's nice to have one around, I like the smaller stores. They are easier to get in and out of quickly, you don't have to park a mile away, or compete at the check-out with people buying clothes, shoes, paint, etc. etc. Also, you can find what you want much easier, and find someone to help you much easier if needed. I don't think the Walmart's and Target's weren't really meant to "replace" the smaller local grocery store, but instead, allow people to pick up some of their g
  5. Right now, I'm all ears. I want to keep an open mind. And this quote is coming to my mind right now. "Truth is stranger than fiction, but it is because Fiction is obliged to stick to possibilities; Truth isn't." Mark Twain
  6. This doesn't surprise me, either. In fact, I could have predicted it. I think the people of Georgia have gotten a bad Deal, and many, are just now realizing it. And, I agree with the Brenda Wood for Governor part!
  7. Adding my prayers, for all involved in this accident.
  8. You could always tell the mom you would have to charge $20.00 for reimbursement of the gas and a few hugs and kisses from the 3 year old for the babysitting part?
  9. I will be praying, also.
  10. How old? They are all so cute and sweet, especially when they are around 3 and 4, to me. And they love so unconditionally. I bet you will probably get lots of hugs and kisses. As far as what to charge.... I would ask the parent what they thought was a fair price to pay. That might give you an idea of what to charge?
  11. I wouldn't know what to tell you to charge in money. I have kept my grandson many, and most of his 4 years, and I charge 2 hugs and 3 kisses per hour.
  12. A commonly prescribed class of anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications that work by affecting the serotonin levels in the brain. It is an abbreviation for Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor.
  13. Wow, that is a great idea, and a great program! Not only helps keep our landfills cleaner, and saves on our planets resources, but also helps promote the economy, by encouraging people to spend a little money, at some local businesses. This way, you can buy new stuff, kinda "guilt free," and not have to worry that your adding to the pollution and garbage problems, that we have in this country. This is the first I have heard of this, I must have missed it on the news. Thanks for the link Postman.
  14. Maybe with Gwinnett now leading the way, other counties will follow. It is nice to know that they are doing this. I found this online, I guess this is what you are talking about here Postman. I wish we had incentive kind of incentive here also. http://www.gwinnettcb.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=16&Itemid=58
  15. WOW! That is one lucky penguin! That boat was sure, at the right place, at the right time for that little fellow. And he was so cute sitting up there on that boat. Not only did he escape being eaten, but made some new friends, all at the same time.
  16. Well, it is true. Your so sweet, Go Bue, I just had to give you a kiss for that. You know, it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure this out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNmeX9LQUow
  17. Maybe we just need more medical schools and more people going into the medical field, so that when socialized medicine, kicks in, and we can finally, catch up with the rest of the developed world, we will have enough people to fill all those jobs. This would eliminate any long waits to see a doctor. Supply and Demand, you know. Ok, so, that is Capitalism. Socialism and Capitalism working well together to fill a very important need in our society. Of course, (as capitalism would dictate), when more and more people compete in the medical field, the price of medical care should come down.
  18. I am glad it's gone! All I can say is........GOOD RIDDANCE!
