Here's the problem with the bus driver keeping all the kids from getting black eyes and such. She's driving the equivilant to a big rig. Knowing that she could not be carrying a more precious cargo. Have you ever tried to drive something that big? Then, she's supposed to see what's going on behind her with the kids. Not the 2.4 kids we normally have with us, but 60, 70, sometimes 90 or more kids on one bus. Honestly, our elementary bus had more than 90 kids on it. Not sure of the current number. Not sure how a consumption tax takes the burden off the wealthy. They would no longer get to use all those loopholes and deductions. Also, they consume on a higher scale than the rest of us so they would still pay more, unless my math is wrong.

Not sure if it would be worth it for 10 items. Depends on the items. They usually charge $5 + 30%. Most sales don't charge the $5 fee if you work a 4 hour volunteer shift. This also qualifies you to shop the sale before the general public comes in. I know some charge more and require that you work an entire 8 hour shift to have the fee removed/shop early, which is a bit much. Some people price items at about 25% of the original cost. If they are bigger items or are harder to find, like Step 2/Little Tikes, etc, I usually see what they are actually selling for on ebay and price them
