  1. One thing that bothers me is that I have to give an email addy for the Ga Real Estate Commission/Appraisers Board. Also for the MLS service. They need to be able to reach me, right? Well I guess this email addy gets distributed to every realtor with a property or a client list to sell. So if the Board claims they've been emailing me about something to do with my license, it has to be an email addy that I will check, right? Because I'm very tempted to dump the current addy as a spam collector and not notify these entities!
  2. I was just looking for this recently. Gotta go back and find it now.
  3. awwwwwwww! Nothing but big dogs in our house. Good luck robbing this one. Some people stain their pants just seeing us out and about with our biggest fella.
  4. Don't know how long they will offer this but if you know of someone who could use it, why not buy it for them and send it now? You can even get it shipped out ot them for free w/the code "HONOR". Not sure if they would have a place to charge batteries but they seem to have laptops, etc. out in the field so, maybe? eGo-T for deployed military
  5. Was this the cross-dressing bank robber guy? The one they were trying to find off Canton Rd?
  6. Here's my thing. Why not include the movie "Not Without My Daughter" in the lesson? It's a TRUE story. Then include something positive from the Muslim community that is not forced into the religion, maybe from the Muslim community that lives here, maybe elsewhere, but not forcefully Muslim. I've always believed that we should be open to other cultures. However, I don't know that we could ever get an honest, uncensored opinion out of the women who could legally be beaten or publicly killed for not shedding a positive light on their community. HELLO! In the same light, we could discuss
  7. My experience with pain management has been overall a good one. They use precautions determining what meds are needed and moniter their patients well. I left my primary care physician over a situation where he would not help at all with such severe pain that I was forced to go to the ER, twice, along with a rediculous amount of tests between the Heart Clinic and the digestive specialist. I jumped through every hoop they asked me to. This PC had been seeing me for 10 years, had given me Tylenol 3....once, during a Fifth's Disease episode, and had never been asked for anything else for
  8. Thank you! The number is disconnected but at least I have the right store name now. I'll see if there are any others around.
  9. Wasn't there a "Sell it on Ebay" store or something like that nearby? Anyone remember or know where it was and if it is still open? Thanks!
  10. Maybe this was his wife, and she was finally ovulating....and they were desperately trying to start a family. Something I would wonder: what would he do if he came up on something like this? Charge them with indecent exposure or worse?
  11. If they would go ahead and fence an area for dogs to play....maybe that would help.
  12. Ok. Where is "The Patch"? I googled that but got birth control, etc. Where do you find it?
  13. DS said that the teacher told him that someone had gotten hurt and that there was an ambulance there. Doesn't make sense to me. Why would they go on lockdown for an ambulance? I think this is a "story".
  14. I know there's a great instructor in Villa Rica at the Sports Complex Monday and Tuesday evenings. I think it's beginners at 7:30, more advanced at 8:30. Prices are great. Call Debra @ 770-456-6244.
  15. Oh my gosh! Tonight was the season finale. Oh my gosh!! Yes, it's a teen show. The first couple of episodes were very difficult to get through but turned out to be a great show to watch with DD. Now I'm hooked!
  16. That's a thought, too. Having even 15-20 minutes added to the day could save $, by cutting some days. Like MM12 said, the buildings are already cooled/heated/in use. That alone could buy 8 days of not running busses or cooling buildings in the most drastic temps that we have here. The school system threatened for years to go to split shifts. They've cut all middle school sports, furloughed and laid off teachers until our kids are so overcrowded (dd had over 40 kids in one class last year and her teacher told me there was no way to teach under the circumstances and she recommended that we
  17. So, actually...if they went back to the original Thanksgiving break (Thursday/Friday) instead of taking an entire week, took out the five day breaks in September and February, that would be thirteen days. How did Cobb only find eight days to work with, I wonder? Also, we are starting 23 days before Labor Day weekend. I know that the school year used to go a week or so later than it does now so that would total 18 days or so that we could possibly push the start date (SUBSTANTIALLY cooler in May/early June than August) if they were to run the school year to June 3/4 or so. I guess we've
  18. So, to save me some research time, how was it that a few years ago we started in late August but had the same amount of breaks during the year? Not being snooty. Just curious what changed. I can't remember what got us pushed back further into the summer. Actually, it may have been two years ago that we started on August 21 or s/thing close to that. The school system is easing its way into a year round school year which is much more costly, either way you view it.
