  1. Aww. Sorry it's so far from you. You're quite a ways from us!

  3. Do some research. Try this website: http://www.hystersisters.com/vb2/forumdisplay.php?f=236 Seems like I remember hearing great things about the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta. That was many years ago, though. I spent two months jumping throuth hoops with the women's group of doctors out here. Don't know if it was insurance or the dr.'s that were delaying everything. I had waited until I could no longer walk without excruciating pain. Within two weeks of switching to Dr. Chaddha's office I was in surgery. His first question was "How were you able to walk?" Unfortunately, he
  4. Needed something to warm my heart. Wonder if he knows just how many people this act will affect? Just knowing that someone was that kindhearted can do so much to turn others in that direction!
  5. Oh my gosh, I feel your pain!! Here's the sad part. I've had it done before. So I can tell you from experience, it's worth it. My problem was that I had it done a long time ago. I was 104 lbs, this short and refused to buy larger than a DDD bra, so I looked strange, if you asked me. Always looked fat..lol. Being so much younger, I guess the doc was scared to take too much out. I was furious to find out that he didn't take more. Then any and all weight gain seems to gravitate there. The surgery may not have been as bad, due to being young and in great shape at the time. So I
  6. Cause it won't come off with weight loss, my back is KILLING me and I am not worried what the opposite sex thinks at this point. 5'2" and small frame + hauling that load = back pain/shoulder indentions/etc. Just over and done with it.
  7. I buy one so that I can get in the pool. Preferably one that does not make me look like a cow and that can contain the lardbags that I cannot get rid of. If it does that, I'm a happy camper.
  8. I was messing with you. Still have a long way to go but I'm getting there. After dropping 35 pounds, not an ounce out of the bustline. Very frustrating.
  9. I'm not revealing my real weight. But in another 20-25 pounds, I will become a large A cup, maybe a small B. :yahoo: I am DONE with my blessing. Hubby says to pack my bags. I told him not to worry. We can have them attached to him and he can hold them up 24/7 like I've had to. I guess this section was really more for the ladies. Which will bring me to my next subject. I think I have one picked one out but anyone want to weigh in on a plastic surgeon? Insurance was willing to pay the majority of it 15 years ago (found out we were pregnant 13 days before surgery)...that surge
  10. And you need to make a copy of it before you frame it. It will fade in the frame. SO SWEET!
  11. Will do! Also, I'm cautiously looking on ebay. There are quite a few miracle suits, new with tag, that might work. Much cheaper.
  12. Thanks for your support. I'm DDD and finally got down to 200 pounds. That help?
  13. The world has enough trauma to deal with.
  14. That's a great idea. Thanks for the tips. I've always hung to dry but didn't use woolite/delicate and not right after chlorine.
  15. Thanks, ladies! Had to step out to get dd some clothes. Speaking of chest sizes! Between all of us who are blessed/cursed and all those who've had implants, you'd think there would be a decent market for the fasion industry. Wish I had checked pcom while we were at the mall. One of the reasons I didn't want to spend so much on a suit is the fact that my other suits didn't even last two seasons. It's good to hear that some of the more expensive ones do last.
  16. I am so over this! Lost enough weight to fit into normal sized bathing suits but of course I maintained every ounce of my bustline. Ugggg! Cannot wait to have them taken off. (off subject) Is there any place that sells bathing suits for less than $150-$200 with any support whatsoever? I'm not referring to the minipad and extra bead of fabric. I'm talking serious support for those of us who are carrying a small child sized load up there. Figured if there were such a place, my p.com ladies would know. (not me ....but this is what I feel like!)
  17. I would look into physical therapy for sure. They will probably provide it, of course, but you could research what's really and truely been benificial to those that have gone through this. You said she's tried exercise. The only thing I can think of, as a mom, to offer help is that I've found so much more when I do my own research. Sometimes a PT is only relying on a method they are familiar with. Actually, maybe I need info from you. I might pm you. DD has had trouble keeping up in competition cheer, stating that her heart was hurting when they get too winded. She's had some other
  18. Wow. Not judging your decision, BTW. Just making sure they were not rushing you into something that drastic. Sometimes I speed read and miss important details. So sorry to hear this. Hopefully the surgery will relieve the pressure. That has to feel aweful! Prayers!
  19. DD has a 36 degree curve on top and a 30 degree curve on bottom, "S" shaped. Still, no surgery. We take her to a chiropractor. Also, certain exercises can help. They're jumping right into surgery?
  20. What age groups would you need? Is there any way to know in advance? Hey, we could provide a not-so-handsome great dane...lol. J/K Although, if someone has a really well trained dog, that could be something different that might stand out! Any "Skidboot"s out here? (google him)
  21. We need to get our cards straightened out. We have old cards, new cards, some are the kids', we don't know which is which. Can we bring them in and get help to figure it out? Or should we just trash everything and start over?
  22. You need more dogs. Not intended to be related to the subject. Just sayin' (fellow dog lover)
